Airgun Designs - Warranty Policy (http://www.airgundesignsusa.com/WarrantyPolicy.shtml)

We offer a 90-day limited warranty from the date of original retail purchase. This limited warranty covers some parts, labor, manufacturing defects, and malfunctions. It does not cover abuse such as wrapping the marker around a tree when you lose a game, nor does it cover damage that occurs as part of an accident such as a house fire or hurricane.

After the 90-day limited warranty ends, we have what we call star warranty program. There are one to four stars laser engraved above the serial number on your marker's valve assembly. Each star entitles you to a free repair of your marker, subject only to a $20 shipping/handling fee ($20 additional, total $40, for residents of Alaska and Hawaii).

When you send your marker in for repair, we will drill a small dent into one star and so "punch" it out. After we have punched a star there is again a 90-day warranty to make sure we fixed your marker properly. If the marker still has the same problem it was sent in for, we will fix it again without punching another star and without any shipping/handling fee, as long as the marker is returned to us within 90 days of the first repair.

We will still service your marker after all the stars are used, but we will charge you a standard rebuild fee of $65 ($85 for E-Mags; add $20 to either for for residents of Alaska and Hawaii), which covers the replacement of soft parts and return ground shipping (air shipping to Alaska and Hawaii). There will be additional charges for hard parts such as bolts or sear assemblies. Just as there is a 90-day warranty on repairs done under the star program, there is also a 90-day warranty on rebuild repair work.

PLEASE NOTE:

Warranties do not cover wear items like bolts, sears, springs, spring packs, reg pistons, magnets, screws.

All Automag RTs are out of warranty and are subject to the $65 rebuild fee ($85 for Alaska and Hawaii residents).

All E-Mags, X-Mags, Tac-Ones, RT ULE Customs, RT Pros, X-Valves, Retro Valves and Flatlines without engraved stars have the equivalent of 2 stars. We will "punch" the valve to show that a warranty repair has been done on the valve. We are going to begin laser-engraving stars on these valves soon.

Warranties in regards to E-Mags, X-mags and any future Electronic marker made by AGD: Boards will only carry a 1 year warranty which is not considered transferable. A copy of a receipt will be required when performing any repair/replacement of any electronic board found on an X-mag, E-mag, or any future electronic marker made by Airgun Designs Inc.

THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS to our warranty service policy:

*
We will not perform any type of service on a marker which has been reported stolen according to our company guidelines.
*
We will not perform any type of service on a marker which has no serial number. We will not perform any type of service on a marker if the serial numbers on the valve body and the regulator body of the valve assembly do not match. We will contact you to offer the Valve Exchange program or the Go-X Valve program.
*
Level 7 updates and cracked power tubes will no longer be handled at no charge. If you own an older valve (below Level 7) or you have a cracked power tube, you may purchase a brand new valve with warranty under the Valve Exchange program or the Go X-Valve program.
*
We no longer provide free warranty service for older Classic, 68AutoMag, and Minimag valves without stars located on the valve. If a starless valve comes in (this includes valves with stars but have aftermarket reg halves which include ANS Phase II regulators, PMI Perfect Charger regulators, Diamond Labs 8-hole mod regulators, and etc.), we will contact the customer to arrange payment before beginning repair work. In other words: No Star, No Warranty. The marker must come in for inspection at the factory before we can consider waiving any fees.
*
Airgun Designs’ markers equipped with the E-LCD Boo-Yah or Centerflag’s Hyper Series Frames WILL NOT be accepted at the factory. If you want us to repair your marker, your aftermarket electronic trigger frames must be replaced by your stock frame. Any marker with an electronic trigger frame will be repackaged and shipped back to the customer without any work being performed on the marker. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Also, Diamond Labs or Dye frames invalidate the warranty and will require a $65 rebuild fee ($85 Alaska and Hawaii). Benchmark and, of course, our own Intelliframes will not invalidate the warranty if they have not been modified.
*
We will no longer fix markers for free either under the limited warranty or the star warranty if the marker has an aftermarket part and/or accessory that causes a problem. Some examples of modifications and/or parts that can cause problems include:

a. painted mainbodies
b. two finger triggers (other than our own)
c. wooden grips
d. aftermarket valve assembly parts (automatic rebuild fee)
e. aftermarket o-rings and seals
f. aftermarket bolts (especially Venturi bolts)
g. aftermarket on/off assemblies

* MicroMag bodies and SmartMag bodies are not made by AGD, though we do make these valves. If we determine that the body is causing the problems, a charge may apply. There is no warranty against leaks caused by Black Box modifications (SmartMag). Both of these products will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
* Splash Kits (usually found on SmartMags and mags with Eclipse modifications) may cause the repairs to be subject to charges.
* In many cases, aftermarket accessories such as barrels, expansion chambers and grip frames do not cause a problem and will not void the warranty. Many aftermarket parts and accessories are available. We have no problem with aftermarket parts being installed in our markers. However, please keep your stock parts on hand and replace them first if you have problems with your marker. If we determine that an aftermarket part is causing the problem, the repairs will require at least the $65 rebuild fee ($85 Alaska and Hawaii).

And finally …

* Please do NOT send any barrels or air systems or other removable accessories with your marker unless specifically told to do so by our Tech Department. Airgun Designs is not responsible for any accessories sent to us along with a marker and not necessary to the repair.
* Customers and dealers MUST call Airgun Designs to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before sending any marker, valve, accessory or part to us for repairs. Any product coming to the factory without a Return Authorization number will be shipped back to the customer. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
* If we are unable to obtain payment information from you within 90 days after the date we first contact you asking for that information, your repaired product will be considered "abandoned property" and will be disposed of at our discretion to cover the charges you incurred.
* This warranty policy is subject to change or update without notice.

Other Products
Warp Feeds have the same 90-day limited warranty as markers, and after 90 days have expired, we will charge a $35 rebuild fee ($50 Alaska and Hawaii) plus an additional charge for parts. Modifications may invalidate any warranty. The shipping/handling fee for a repair on a Warp Feed before the 90-day warranty has expired is $15 ($30 Alaska and Hawaii).

ANY modifications made to Flatlines will invalidate the warranty.

As of 9/13/04, the SFL E-Mag no longer qualifies for the ACE system upgrade, and no more ACE installations will be done on SFLs.

READ ALL THIS INFORMATION FIRST
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS INFORMATION

1. READ our Warranty Policy. There are some aftermarket parts (including, but not limited to, electronic grip frames) which will not be accepted at the factory, or which will invalidate your warranty. You should know this in advance! If your marker has aftermarket parts, first try returning it to stock condition to see if that solves the problem.
2. DO NOT send us your barrel, hopper, drop forward, hoses, air fittings or air system with a marker unless they are specifically involved with the problem. In other words, send the bare minimum needed to effect repairs. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost equipment which was sent in unnecessarily, and such equipment WILL NOT be replaced if it ends up missing.
3. If you are sending in an SFL or an Xtreme, DO send in all feed modules.
4. If you are sending in a marker equipped with a Level 10 bolt, also send in your entire Level 10 kit. If the kit is not sent in and we have to install one or more parts that are included in the kit, you will be charged for any such parts.
5. If you check the "No Signature Required" box below, we are not responsible if the package is missing after UPS delivers it. We WILL initiate a trace at your request.
6. We cannot guarantee return of a product by any particular date. Our normal turnaround is to ship the repaired product out within two weeks of the date we check it in. This does not mean you will receive it within two weeks, but that our goal is to ship it within two weeks. This is not always possible, depending on workload, techs working at tournaments or other staff absences.
7. If we determine that charges will apply for any reason, we will contact you to make arrangements for payment before completing work. Be sure you give us a daytime phone number where we can reach you or leave a message that you're certain to receive. If we cannot contact you for payment information within 30 days of checking in the gun, we will simply put it aside until we hear from you. If charges apply, we will not work on the gun without having payment arrangements.
8. WE ONLY REPAIR AIRGUN DESIGNS PRODUCTS.
