My favorite gun, WGP Sniper II circa 1994 (?). I put the detent in, since it didnt come with one. The back block and frame are also after market.

My current project ... purple wood grips on the way ... as well as some single swing trigger internals to convert the frame.

I got a cooper-t backblock on it right now .. (not in pic)... but it's butt ugly and not worthy of a picture ... the red just doesn't work ... so i'm in need of another backblock and bolt :(

My PGP2
I made a wooden pump and grips out of purple heart. I also put on a phantom speedgate and I modded the bolt to help prevent breaks.

Turbo Chicken... what do you think of that Hooptie pump kit? I was looking at them, but I couldn't find any reviews I trusted. I really like the OLD style WGP kits. Are these anything like the WGP ones?

Talfuchre(mispelled) did a decent review ... look on the pumpenstein website

I agree with him that the pump rod needs to be a little shorter... and the spring it comes with is heavy for a sniper ...i think i'm going to purchase another rod as the last piece of my sniper...

The pump stroke was rough at first ... then i realized ... this is dry raw aluminum rubbing against more aluminum... added a little oil and it was butter not CCM butter but smooth...Having the right diamater barrel for any economy kit goes a long way ... with my ** venturi barrel .. it's got very very very small room for twist ... enough that i'm considering getting/ fabricating and AT for it :evillaugh: ... my pump seemed to smooth out with a little late night "pumping" while watching tv or surfing the boards...

I can't give an educated opnion on the WGP kit as i've only shot one in the crono and didn't spend very much time with it ... but it was the same "smoothness" if you will ...

The only differences i think that matters between the 2 is the aluminum is a little heavier and the price... and that's why i picked it over the WGP ... i wanted a heavier pump kit, price, and i plan on match anno at some point this year ...

here's the latest incarnation ... ordered another backblock last night...
trying to decide on running straight C02 using a gas thru or asa reducer ... or keep the reg and get a black WGP reg cover ...

It's got a hardline and a different ASA on there at the moment. I feed it with a little 13ci 3000psi HPA tank that I picked up from Wevo. I use a BE Talon 50rnd hopper on it.

Stupiddog... that is one seriously purple pump gun! I like it!

ThePixelGuru... Good looking PGP2k. I really like the feedtube windows. They are nicely done, and understated. They look like they belong there!

Flyingpootang... That is one great looking Pump mag. The rail threw me off. I assume it is a custom milled emag rail? That marker looks like a Carter creation (That is a high compliment)

Freedom... Let me show off my potential ignorance... Is that an original Dessert Duck? Are you planning to be at Tunaball? Want to trade that for say... my extra kidney? ;)

Here's a tid bit. Somewhere in Brooklyn NY there is a custom automag that was stuffed into a Duck body. It was done circa 1994(?) by Fernando at Carter Machine.

It was a standard feed, classic mag with an Autoresponse frame on it. It was black, but IIRC it was polished silver by whomever purchased it last I seen it.

The gun was briefly owned by Carl Walin of the now defunct Flag Station pb proshop in Brooklyn. Carl was semi famous for being the creator of the first half block autococker, btw.

Ive inquired with him for some pics, but I never get a response. He's cranky in his old age.

On the barrel is a fake suppressor with a flashlight mounted underneath. I thought it was funny that way. With the palmer barrel on there it got a bit front heavy like that though.

Bought both of them brand new. Jackal was the 2nd gun I ever owned, after a Nelspot 2 that I sold on to a mate. I then went and bought the sniper - so I've had both for 20+ years (old git) :D

Forgot how heavy that Jackal rig is, and can't beleive i used to play 7 & 10 man woodsball tourny's with it back in the 90's. Must have had very strong arms? Oh... and the tank still has CO2 in it. Turned the thermo knob... fsss... click ... bang! :coolshades:
