yeah waters fun...try going down to 3" of water covering your basement floor....not that was a good time :sticktongue:

we had 1 sump pump pumping out the water thru a hose out the window, and 1 wet vac filling up buckets that we had to keep running upstairs to dump outside. took us from 8am till about 12 that night to get all the water out and rip up all the carpet. FUN!!

I flooded my bathroom when I clogged the toilet before, cleaning up that little mess was frustrating. can't imagine having the clean an flooded apartment up.

It snowed a whole bunch then melted then rained most of yesterday. From what I understand their sump pump wasn't working. Way to go redbird :owned:

Been here, done this multiple times...

Once or twice in Baltimore when the sump pump failed, and a couple of spectacular times in WV, when the spring rains hit!

The first spring I owned the house I got to watch from the safety of the State Road, as a 40 cubic yard dumpster floated past my house. The water was literally lapping at the front door seals!

When I build the new house, assuming I ever do, it will be at least 25 feet up the mountain!

Praying for rain? Praying for tidal waves? You want to see the ground give way? You wanna watch it all go down?
