I see A-Tach-One has done this to many of his SFL's. I know there are typically 2 set screws on a Vert Module... but I don't want to replace the whole stem though, just the top Neck part, with maybe an Ego-style, Clamping Feedneck. How does that top part of a module come off of the stem? Press fed and loctited, or are there threads between them?

thanks,

Rather not be sending out my vert module. If it's just press fed, ill take some strap wrenches to it.

Nope on the Pump Night, as work during the week, inhibits my ability to play :wall:

Papa Smurf took a strap wrench to his Xmag breech to get the neck out. Im not sure what kind of grip you will get on your sfl neck though and those have no set screws but it sounds like your gunna leave that baby alone. They're pressed in there pretty good. I'll pm you.

Edit: Do I remember you saying you have an issue with the sfl breech? Is that why your using the XMag module?

A-Tach: PM'd back.

Considering I have a Scenario Game this weekend, the breech will stay un-touched... for now  .

Tuna & I still don't know what ShockTech did to the original SFL Breech, milled the inside o her wrong, took too much out or something. Regardless of ACE, LX, and a detent setup perfectly, she would still chop somehow. We slapped an XMag Vert Breech on her 4ish yrs ago, ), and she did just fine..... . Just stuck dealing with the slighty mis-match Re-anno, visa-ve', the breech & body, as they are different grade Alum.
