I was wonder if I could use a polishing liquid (for stainless steel) on my nickle ULE body. There are some slight stains on it that I can't wipe off with a cloth, but I also don't want to ruin it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I saw a guide on the AO a few months back of someone polishing their mini-mag body.

It listed all things he used to do it and how much time spent on each part.

You may want to look that thread up,... this body was like glass!

I know that the Minimag bodies are SS so you are definitely able to polish them. In fact I have a MM body that is polished. But I think that the ULE is plated, so I want to know if the plating is safe to polish.

You will be amazed how nice it comes up.

Thanks Tuna. I feel better about proceeding with polishing.

Not polish a powder coated SS body. It was to polish the ULE aluminum one.
