Back story: Bought a Dynaflow last summer. First time I used it I backed the adjuster cap out too much and lost the piston and spring. No big problem I got them through the Centerflag and it worked fine.

So a few weeks ago I was working on my mag to tune the reactivity a bit and pop! The silver adjuster cap, spring and piston flew off. Which was a bit odd. No air leaked but I pressed down on the combo after reinstalling it to drain the air in the tank.

I figured that the threads got stripped but after a better investigation I noticed no signs of damage on the threads. Now the cap won't thread in unless I remove the spring.

I'm thinking that the adjuster cap may have lost its bottom rows of threading but it seems far to clean for that to have happened. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what went wrong?

And also if anyone knew how long the threading on the adjuster cap is for me to compare to see if that is what went wrong.

Thanks a lot.
