Its snowing out and we're bored
so i decided to start a marker competition....up first will be my pnuemag vs my mini
If anyone has a goldwave or whatever you use to get the bps that would be great
Feel free to add your own vids of any markers you want.....but must be in semi mode....one pull = one shot

Both are hot setups , and look to have pretty short n' light triggers. Seem pretty fast too...

Though it may just be your slower firing, as neither are faster than my SFL :glare:

Don't have any decent camera to take it with... but if you come to TunaBall II, you'll find out in person... :evillaugh:

VS each other in what? Speed alone? I can't see how there would be a difference as technically its your fingers on both. Short of trigger adjustment ginving some advantage like bounce, etc. you should not be able to shoot faster on one than the other.

Now how about weight, shots per tank, things like that?
Clear winner?

...but if you look at it like most custom, or hard to find, unique it goes the other way.....

you think so? you dont think the marker has any input on how fast it can shoot? are you saying i can fire a spyder just as fast as an ego?

Trigger weight, pull length, and return have a great deal in how fast you can pull.

Also, Pneumag hands down. no comparison to the mini in my opinion.

Depending on the persons setup the mini or the pneu can rip. It just depends on the guy pulling the trigger and the mods they put in their gun. I know I scared a bunch of people with my mini in camp pendleton last year and I can't wait to let my pneumag rip. :lol2:

velocity was turned all the way down that's why it's so quit...but even with it turned up with paint it's pretty quiet

Man... you totally stole my idea from AO and started a new thread here!!! :loser:

Haha... that's okay, though. At least I don't have to monitor the competition over here. That's all you, buddy. :nana:

Here's some competition for you, but I think I'll be practicing some this weekend, and maybe I can get a better streak. Right now I'm only doing between 8 and 12 bps.

(Someday, you'll have to show me how to make the video actually appear in the thread instead of just posting a link.)

What I am saying is that more than anything, when using a marker in semi that the trigger itself has more to do with how fast it will shoot. Of course that is subject to mechanical limitations of the marker itself....but between these two, and being shot by the same person I think it would come down to whether one or the other had trigger bounce or slightly sweeter adjustment.

And technically, yes a Spyder can shoot just as fast as an Ego, IF they were both using the exact same trigger with a human and not electronics being the deciding factor. Matter of fact I am not 100% certain that even mechanically that a spyder can't pull more cycles per minute than an Ego.....I seem to remember way back when there being some discussion that jabb's can run somewhere in the area of 40BPS of full cycles. I have nothing other than a fuzzy memory of some old forum debate to back that up with though.

I think I covered that in the next line with the key words "trigger adjustment". No offense intended.

well this is intresting. i do agree that the trigger is a variable so lets just say im testing between the two triggers
