Is there any performance/ trigger feel/ advantage in building a mag on one rail or the other?
I understand that you need the correct sear and pin for each type. Does one provide a better trigger feel than the other?
I am only familiar with the "classic" AM/MM rail, and always thought if I would build a mag I would start with a Dallera rail, now Rogue has gone and made his Mini-Wave. I never really considered an RT rail because of the length. With the Mini-Wave being the same length as a Dallera, I was wondering if there is an advantage to having the sear setup of the Mini-Wave (RT).

There's no difference perfomance wise. The nice thing about the RT style rails is that the sear stays in place if you hold the rail upside down.

I don't have any actual proof or testing to back it up, but it always seemed easier for me to tune my RT railed mag to its highest performance as far as Level X and ULT with the RT rail. I don't know why, but it is something I knowticed.

The Mini-Wave rail uses the RT sear. All of my rails have been made from AGD RT slugs, regardless of length.

Ive always preferred the fixed RT sear(no up/down movement of the sear).

I never thought about the up and down movement of the sear pin in the AM/MM rail. The RT screw in sear pin definitly fixes that. Thanks for the thought.
