Hi everyone, If you have a Chimera Frame pneumaged, can you post pics of it. I am looking for ideas. Truth is I am trying to put a Tickler inside the grip frame, and I need some ideas. I think there might be enough room to do this, but if anyone has pics, it might help me figure a way to do this. Thanks everyone.:banana::banana:

BTW, is there a way to get Cyberave's "How to" Thread stickied?? It's very informative, but on the 5th page. Or maybe this was done for a reason. :evillaugh:

here's the internals, hoses weren't ran yet, but there's still plenty of room for the lpr to fit inside, ecspecially a tickler

Yea, I think If I can mount the MSV-2 a little higher than the one in the pics, and I can reverse the MSV-2 so that the Barbs are facing up, like Pneumagger did in his video, I should have enough room. I am using an older style Tickler, so I don't think I can get much smaller than that. Cool guys, thanks for the help.

Im sure you know this as well, but the trigger pull depends on where the msv-2 is positioned.
One like Tonn's will have a very light pull but will also be longer. you can cut that down and have a shorter pull but itll be snappier as well.

Yea, the one's that I have made before were definately shorter than that, and I was happy, but I think I am going to try it a bit longer, and see how it goes. I can always shorten it. Thanks for the input.

cutting the lever will not make the pull any shorter.
it wont be as light but it wont be shorter.
the three way still has to open the same amount

Here's mine, the hoses are alot shorter now and i'm using a Clippard nickel swivel
barb fitting on the rear of the MPA-3. Sorry about the quality of the pic. http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4096784

I like where you mounted the qev ...how's your pull with the lever like that. I wish we had a chimera next to eachother so we could compare trigger pulls and actually see the difference

The pull is very light, it's probably just as light as a longer lever due to have less mass to be pushed back to its quiescant state. The hoses are alot shorter now as i use 90 deg swivel fittings as to get a better flow rate and maintain a high rate of fire. I'll upload so newer pics this arvo. I now use a swivel fitting on the rear of the MPA-3 to make reduce the risk of the hose being kinked. I had alot of problems with the hose being kinked as i ran the hose directly out of the rear of the MPA-3 and curled the hose back over the top of itself and down into the frame. It works much better. It also gave me the unforseen benefit of the hose pushing the trigger forwards ever so slightly! No need for magnets or springs!

Is the area where you've milled out on the on/off asa sealed by the o ring shown? If it is, i like you'e style sir! That's such a great idea!

Yes, for a perfect sleeper pneumag. It was Practice Target that machined and fit all the cyberave68 parts. I just received it yesterday.
I still need to tune it some before I send it to ano. I can't walk it consistently quite yet but it's on the cusp, it seems. My guess is ULT adjustment. I also have a small hiss in the grip frame when I hold the trigger back. it stops once I release however.

The hiss is perfectly normal, they all do that! The MSV-2 vents air until released. You'll find that a too high pressure from the LPR and you won't be able to walk the frame, not enough and the same thing will happen. Walk it while you adjust the LPR pressure untill you hit the sweet spot. If the trigger feels "sticky" round off the end of the rod to a semi circle. This ensures there's very little surface area of the rod touching the rear of the trigger for a smooth pull. Also you may find the angle of the MSV-2 might require adjustment so it's easier to sweet spot the trigger for walking. These were the 3 main things i came across while setting up the trigger for walking. Rounding off the end of the rod was crucial on the 2 frames i made.

very nice...
if you get your 3-way more horizontal it will help out alot.
i usualy tune my tickler by degassing it then turning it slowly untill it shoots, then about another 1/4 to half turn
