View Full Version : Stupid question about frames...

The old Boo*Yaah frame specifically.
I have 2 mags...one classic+Level 7 w/ expansion chamber and one with a minimag valve and foamy bolt. I only use HPA with them, never CO2.
Is this frame a simple "bolt-on and play" frame or do I need anything spectacular for it - like rails, different sear, anything like that?
IF I get this frame I'm looking at right now, I'd like to put it on the teflon coated with MiniMag valve is why I'm asking...
thanks

You need a valve that will accept the ULT on/off assembley from AGD.
There are "other" methods to get you there,.. but let me save you a bad days worth of play and about 200 bucks.
Get a ULT,.. the frame will work. The valve you want to use MUST be able to use the ULT. So basically if you have an "X-Valve" your okay.
If you dont,.. you need to re-think the gun and how much that boo-yaah means to you.
Personally I own 2,.. and they are paper weights.
I have converted 2 Hyperframes (what the Boo-yahh ripped off) and they work awesome! APE Board in a Hyperframe Install Guide (http://www.pblegion.com/showthread.php?t=1110)
You can do this converstion to the boo-yaah,... if you want to.
The method is all there,... just adjust to your frame and go for it.
If you need any help,... post in that link and I might be able to assist you some.

The reason you cant do a drop in is because of the date the electronics were made.
They are sooooooo outdated its not even funny.

so basicly the closest I'm going to get to an electric/mimic "drop-in" frame for a "Classic" configured Mag is an intelliframe...and/or PneuMag frame...damn......lol.

None of the pneumatic frame or EP frames are "drop in" they take some work.
A few guys will do the install if you want,... if you want to use your classic valve and get a high ROF,.. pneumag it.
Theres a video on youtube of a classic mag that someone did with a pneumag install,.. its very fast.

i would go with a hyperframe over a boo yaah....but i would choose to pnuemag it over anything else.
with a classic valve you will see some shootdown...if you walk it fast enough
but with a x-valve it will just rip as fast as you can pull it

Yeah, thanks. I'm really not looking foward to spending $200+ for just a valve alone...yet I want a higher ROF than the mech/single trigger can provide. I'm not looking for 15+ bps or anything...5-10 is fine and actually great for me.
I don't do speedball anymore and don't need the high rates of fire...but I do a lot of milsim and scenarios and having 5-10 would be nice.
I gues EDIT---> Pneu (originally said EP) Mag is it then...thanks.

for that rate of fire you dont need to do ep...just go with the pnuematics on a classic valve..it will do just fine...and for only about $50

a hyper frame will work IF you get the hyperframe on off. mine worked fine like that on a classic.
also some have had success with the ult on a classic. about the same amount didnt.

You might want to try an RT on/off. My classic with Hyperframe works well with it.

I've made a deal for an Intelliframe, just sent the MO and it should be on the way next week. I've also got a request for pneumag parts from a dude on AO in the dealer's section...forget his username...$40 for the internal parts...but when he gets them back in stock. All that's left is to get the microrock and then get it all together.
Thanks for the help guys.
