I recently decided to do some work on other peoples guns, primarily because I have too many personal markers and love to tinker and build things.

This is a Logic UMF (ultimate mag frame) for those outside the automag world. I was contracted to install pneumatics and this is the result.

Hey practice that looks awesome. i am a fellow tinkerer and am planning my own pnue-mag. I am looking to do it with a classic valve with lvl 10. My question for you is, if i created a pnuemag based on the classic valve would I be able to later change out the classic for an x valve and have the gun still work flawlessly?

It will work fine with either valve. The only difference would be if you choose to use a ULT then the lpr can be turned down a bit.

The only thing about the pnue-mags is I don't like hanging the LPR out on the forgrip or on the ASA... I just got a UMF frame (haven't seen it yet as I am still overseas) and I am wondering if there is room to put the LPR in the gripframe?

I really like clean lines and limited hoses.. and the LPR hanging out the front makes it look to much like an afterthought on most installations.

maybe its just me...

There should be plenty of room. Probably best to use a smaller LPR like a WGP Tickler.

That's cool.. I will have to look into that when I get back from the sandbox... that and finding someone to drill and tap the frame for that... maybe Rainman on MCB will do it.

Yeah Claudio is cool and he does good work. I got to hang with him at his place for a few hours recently.

Also, talk to Pneumagger. He can probably help you out with that if he is available.

The reason that the LPR is offset end out of a side outlet is that the owner provided an RT style vert asa. There is not enough room to thread the lpr in front. I tapped the hole on the side for lpr and then added a "street" elbow to keep it as close to the grip as possible.

I believe that an lpr could be made to fit o the inside of a UMF but that will take a lot of milling or filing to gain the clearance.

Here is a Pneu-Intelli I am currently working on for a guy on Automags.org. This one will have the LPR in the grip. I am only waiting for the msv 2 to arrive and it will be complete.

you need a mill. inside looks nasty, but you did a VERY good job on seating it from the outside. Looks clean when it's buttoned up. very nice.

I actually used my big drill press a 1/4", 2 fluted mill bit and a 2 axis vise for most of the work. I used the dremel to clear some of the small areas after the drill/mill work. It really doesn't look bad in person and you can't tell anything when the grip is installed.

I am in the process of buying a mill (funds depending). I need a full set of bits including ball ends and a couple of key way cutters. The I can have some fun :)
