So who has good customer service these days anyway?
As I am sure you all have figured out I am in the market for a new gun, so it begs the question who has the best customer service?
Currently looking at a Vice, Cyborg, Droid and Ego/Etek (trying to figure out what the differences are between an Ego and an Etek2 besides the body styling) and while cost wise the Vice and Etek are in the lead does the MacDev customer service warrant the extra cash, is the Ego that much better than an Etek to merit the nearly double cost. Or is Bob a better way to go being he is based in Cali (even though I am on the east coast).
Also I have been told that Bob will do custom ano jobs on the Vice for extra cash, well how much cash and what kind of turn around would I be looking at? I assume it would depend on the ano itself, but I am thinking a single color dust finish with the same black parts he uses now. Also does MacDev do anything like this? Droid is somewhat appealing (although with using a °°°°°°° for a bit I am soured on spools) but I really have my heart set on a dust finish. Sure its a little thing to be concerned with, but its still a thing for me. Call it part of my quest to have a DEEP forest green gun that I have wanted for probably 15 years now, ever since I bought my first cocker. Although a green gun with gold parts might sell the wife better since those where our wedding colors, and I have to admit we where darn snazzy that day.

I did not know The Archbishop Don Magic Juan was a PBL'er. I love your home page. http://www.thebishop.us/

I can say that I've had nothing but good times talking with PE about parts I needed for my EgoMag project. They always responded quickly and gave me either the information I needed or a source for the part I was looking for. Considering this was for something I didn't buy from them, I thought it was pretty damn nice.

Palmer's Pursuit Shop, (PPS), in Cali., has some o the best Customer Service out of the majority of PB Companies. Markers are well worth the pricetags, handbuilt in the USA, out of quality parts.
Looking at picking me up a 45* framed Blade Trigger Blazer sometime this year. Nice reliable mech back-up :D

I know PE has good customer service. My brother is now a tech for them and talks about how quick they are to get him the parts he needs.
As for the difference is the Etek and the Ego I'll give him a call, maybe I can get him to join PB legion and drop some info on them.

That would be killer since I only get the salesman answer that wants to push me into the Ego (which I admit I would rather have, damn mortgage companies actually wanting to get paid) but budget demands I keep the costs down
Now correct me if I am wrong but Bob is the only USA made correct? If I understand it right PE is Europe (guns made in China) and I know MacDev is Aussie (not sure where their product is made but wouldn't be surprised if it was Aussie as well) and Bob is all done in Cali

PE is Brit based. I'm not sure where their markers are made but I think I'll get my brother on here once he gets home from picking up his kids. He'll no more than me by far.

PE is good, but being in the UK sometimes replacement parts can take a while. Also most of their people are great, but afew are real jerks. It really depends on who answers the phone or is at the event.
Bob Long is great, if you have any problems Bob will personally resolve them for you. Being a smaller company they are much more personal. Thier customer service is very similar to AGD's pre Zupe days. And they are all US made so shiping even on special orders is quicker. However there are only two techs so sometimes they have to call you back if they are tied up on another line(they are very fast and good at returning calls)
I have no experiance with Macdev
