Hey:
I was curious if anyone here knew the difference between a Blazer with a Pump Kit and a Pyre from Palmer's Pursuit Shop...
Thanks,

I think that instead of an LPR it has a PPS Stab in its place. And, of course, instead of feeding pneumatics it's feeding the gun itself. The ram is gone and seems to be more or less just a pump guide.

I've got a bunch of Blazers and a Pyre.
Here's mine...

The Blazer w/ pump kit is not as smooth. The Pyre has no "guts" in the "ram" housing to drag on. It acts simply as a pump guide for the bolt.
The Pyre is a DEDICATED pump doesn't have the internal passages drilled for the switch and ram so no "anno dots" from the weld plugs behind the ASA.
As stated above... the Blazer LPR housing is actually a built-in Stabilizer on the Pyre... no need to externally reg. The Stab housing on the Pyre is longer than the Rock(LPR) housing on the Blazer. Short internal passage to the Stab for twelve gram efficiency.
Also the Pyre is sprung lighter to give a lighter pump stroke.
Much information/reviews can be found in the multiple links in my Pyre Serial Number List on MCB.
