I hope you are not referring to Captain Lou Albano. Cause he will beat you down.
Edit: Just realized you weren't dissing him. LOL.

Thanks. Those are my daughters. You can see her hand and leg in the far left of the pic. She calls them "The guys" and loves to play with them. Especially Hot Rod Rowdy Piper. She likes to take off and put back on his "dress".

I had about 20 growing up. The only thing my dad and his dad ever had in common was watching wrestling. So it was only natural that my dad and I also watched it. Luckily we had other stuff in common.
Once I left for college my collection disappeared. After college when I had a house of my own I decided to rebuild my collection. As with paintball I got carried away and bought up every one I could find. There are still about 10 I am missing. Maybe one day the collection will be complete.

When I was a kid and dad was stationed at Benning, we would go over to Columbus and watch the wrestling there.. Mr. Wrestling #1 and 2, Verne Gagne, Freddie Blassie, Tommy "wildfire" Rich, Dusty Rhodes, SuperFly Snooka, jerry Lawler, and many more.. Most often these were matches at the county fairgrounds arena as I recall.. What fun that was.. It was kinda like the roller derby of the day..
But Chuck Norris action figures will beat up your action figures...

Where we are, are cable system carries the MSG network (Madison Square Garden). They play wrestling classics from the 80's and late 70's. Man, those were the days. Don Murocco vs Jimmy Snuka in the cage... Sgt Slaughter vs the Iron sheik in a boot camp match... Bruno Samartino vs Superstar Billy Graham..
Looking back.. my all time favorite from the early 80's (pre-hulamania) was The Magnificent Don Murocco. Man, I pattern my life after that guy. :evillaugh:

Yes Don Murocco is one of the guys I almost had. As well as Sgt Slaughter.
Sgt Slaughter, The Big Boss Man, and The Ultimate Warrior are like the SFL's of the wrestling world. Tough to find and when you do they are very $$$$.
Man tach got pwned, unless you take into acount, he looks like a friggin pro wrestler

Back in 1963 my friends and I would go to an auditorium in the San Fernando Valley to watch wrestling. After one "show" we happened upon Freddie Blassie standing by the curb in the back parking lot. Blassie was THE bad guy who everybody loved to hate with bleached blond hair, a gravel voice and a consistently poor attitude. He was the inventor of the phrase "pencil necked geek" which he directed at everybody during TV interviews on Wednesday night wrestling. We struck up a conversation with Blassie and he talked to us for about 5 minutes. It seemed amazing that he would actually talk to us kids. When valet brought his car up, he excused himself saying in a very un-Blassie-esque voice, "Guys, I've got to get home now or my wife will kill me" I still think it's one of the funniest things I've ever heard anyone say.
