Hey how does that hyperframe and RetroValve get along?

I bought the mag used with the hyper and RT. At first it leaked from the on/off pin, but it just needed a little plumber grease inside the assembly. It works great now but i have nothing to compare it with other than to a spyder. (Only took a total of 5 years to fix it  .... long story)
I actualy bought the minimag last month to split the hyperframe and the RT since i have never tried a mecanical with reactivity. But i learned afterwards that i will need an rt on/off if i want the mini-valve to work with the hyperframe.

Actually.. you will need either a Centerflag on/off (good luck finding one) or a ULT. On a classic valve the ULT is limited due to the amount of force that resets it. So figure TOPS 15bps.

I have a reactor on/off. Will that work?
If so, i'd be glad to help you out bud.

Newly acquired 68-3k. Since i either had to Hydro the 48 that has a cracked gauge and a leak from the pin valve, i decided to spend a little more. I had never seen or touched a fiber wraped in person before tonight. Actualy, I'm the only one with HPA back home. I still can't beleive the weight difference between the 2. Hopefuly, this one won't leak like my 48 since they seem to have the same reg.

Is it normal that there is something in the fill nipple that is moving when it's empty? My other reg never did that.

I've noticed it too. I think the difference is in the old vs new fittings. The old ones had a spring under the poppit and the new ones are force-fitted in place. I found that our when I had my one reg rebuilt but never questioned it..
