I wish I knew photoshop.. I use correl draw, but I don't know it that well either.

Thanks MedicDVG... Corel Draw is cool I learned that back on like version 3 :) Its a very underrated program.

My wife spent like 300-400 dollars on photoshop, it can do that????

Maybe a couple of hints how to?

Ill try and get some "work in progress" pics and try to explain it some when I get home tonight.

Its also not just photoshop....but also Corel Painter (not Corel Photo-Paint)

But yeah...pretty much you can do that with photoshop :)

ajin, that pic is sick you do some nice work. If I ever get a good pic I may want you to do something like that for a price of course

This one has the source pictures...some from istockphoto (great site for pictures at a decent cost)
Also in this is the various layers used for the basic set up to be painted on/ manipulated....

This one show various stages of the painting....there were a lot more...but I only save every so often...but this gives you some idea of how it progressed.

Its basically cut and pasting taken to the next level.

I figured you just added your buddy to a different picture.

Didn't realize you used 4 different pics to get what you wanted. Very cool.

The base is very much cut and paste and blend. Then I go and "paint" on top of it...adding detail, highlighting, adding shadow etc...
