For some reason these heinous looking markers are a temptation to me. It must be the "low maintenance" boltless super design. I mean wow 10 -15 bps and only 2.4 pounds and mech. It would be like shooting a fugly mag. Comments anyone? Seen one anything?

Did I mention they come in black?

I have two ICE Epics. One original and one DV8.

The original never did cycle correctly for me so I never use it. It needs love, yet sits in a box.

The DV8 works great on CO2 or air. Crisp trigger. Funny "pinging" sound travels through the CO2 tank when fired. Fast... but not really fast.

Can't chop a ball... the trap door just bounces off your finger. :)

Let me find some pics...

Original gloss right feed:

Thanks for the pics. Although I gotta say those just keep getting uglier. Compared to shooting a mech mag with level 10 are they worth it?

In a single word... no.

Use the mag or a Blazer or something. While the Epics are fun to shoot and a neat novelty to own and bring out once in a while I would NOT use it as my main... ever. Have too many other good guns.

That puts them in the category of blazers if I ever get a cheap one I will try it. Meanwhile the pneumag project is slowly rising to the top of the pile. Thanks, mat

I just recently got rid of my DV8 and while it was a nice little shooter there was something that just wasn't there. It never chopped, hiccuped or gave me a problem. Shot straight and held a stable velocity never varying more that a couple FPS but in the end I let it go. It was however the gun I loaned out more than any other and never had a single complaint other than how odd it looked.

I use a Blazer as a MAIN. The Blazer is far and away the better gun. Epics are just cool because they are weird and rare.

ya, it would be a totally awesome loaner. I have shot brewtts several times. Its kinda cute with its little ping noise, but as stated, if your looking for a mech shoot a mag. I don't admit it often, but the blazers are the second choice.
