Right now I have a PE 68/45 tank wich I recently dropped and screwed up the top of the reg  It still works but it needs fixed. As of now I am leaning toward 2 options. Option 1 send it to crossfire and have them put a new reg on it, or Option 2 send it to agd and have a flatline installed.

What do you all think ?

Here is a crappy pic, but you can kinda see where the top is cracked and pushed down. Right now it feels like a loose tooth.

I literally HATE my flateline. There is no downstream bleed on it, so you have to put a slide check or something similar to deg*** it.

Call PE and see what they say about that reg. They might be able to just replace the top of it. Happened to me twice - once with a NitroDuck and once with a Centerflag screw in.

Id go with a Crossfire. For the price, they are good consistent regs. These days there is little need for an adjustable tank.

I also prefer the Crossfire reg, never had an issue with them and they work beautifully with my mags.

A buddy of mine has a crossfire, he seems to like his. I guess you can request a output pressure from them as well. I think I may see what they can do for me.

I'll try calling PE fist, maybe they will replace it for free :)

I'm going to say the same thing I said yesterday on AO.

1. Suck it up and keep using it.

2. Buy a Micro Max-Flow

Just buy a new bonnet. they are reasonably priced and fairly easy to get. I posted info about that in your other thread on AO

Contrary to BE, I dig my Flatline. I use a slide check and have had zero problems in the last 4 years of owning it.

Thanks for the responses guys, I think i'm gonna lean towards grEnAlEins suggestion. I didn't know those were servicable like that.

If they had bleeds, I would probably like mine more. I have a couple of Centerflag Dynaflows which I am much more fond of.

I have several dynaflows. They are great. Crossfire is a solid product though.

yeah i'd say take it off, sell it for cheap, and use that money toward a new one.
