There have been quite a few people waiting way too long to get these things. It's good to see some members stepping up to the plate and providing kits for DIY'ers.

Only thing missing is a drop-in upgrade kit for the less handy mag owner...

I dont know if that will happen. Its hard to stop people from selling parts that are commonly available as kits. To have a drop-in kit would require a drop-in frame, something that is actionable.

I think the shift now is to go to AKA guns for EP stuff and upgrade/ mill the crap out of them. Yeah it is way overdue (especially considering the rate of fire potential) and that is the problem. People have moved on. As mechs they still have a rock solid place in the market.

Someone should do a good job of making a pnuemag frame under liscence. Nothing says waterproof like no batteries. :evillaugh:

From the sheer number of frames that Mann has been scooping up, I wouldn't be surprised to see a limited number of drop-in kits going up for sale soon. (just speculating though)

Yeah, its kinda old, thats actually mpsd's marker(from Brazil). A better post is this one...Who told you a Mag is heavy? (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=233148)

I know one of the reasons that I wanted to make an ep mag is to have a marker that was as light as todays markers. My karta/triton weighs in at ~40oz without hopper or tank. it is ~ 10 oz heavier than my mini.

anyone know how much a triton weighs prior to any modification?

Oh I had never seen it before.

Edit: So mpsd was someones username. I get it now.

I am trying to decide if I want a pneumatic or electro pneumatic mag. Building it myself of course.

LOL. Anyone? Be back in a minute with an edit.

Edit: Empty frame(frame only, no parts) = 4.8 oz. according to my postal scale.
