The one that comes to mind is an E-mag & warp feed in the $400 range, circa 2003-2004. A girl by the name of Claire(Capoeira) and I used to compete by scouring eBay for the best deals. E-mags back then were $700-$850 depending on condition.
Another one that comes to mind was a Classic RT package that came with an intelliframe, 3 tanks, a Scuba tank, and a ton of accessories for ~$500.

I snagged a John Sosta Pro-mag on ebay for under 100.00 bucks. I also snagged a automag classic with a euro high rise classic body as well for under 100! Those top my list.

Just recently picked up a decent-shape E-Mag off eBay for $129 BuyItNow ($144 after shipping)
Included ULE body, ULE rail, E-Mag valve w/ LVL10, CP barrel, and a 45/3000 steel hpa tank. A couple of scratches on the lowers/battery pack but overall in really good shape.
As it turns out, the battery needed to be replaced and I needed a charger. I believe that the on/off pin is an RT length so I need to replace that too.
With the replacement battery and charger, I've still only spent about $230 overall. Once I replace the on/off or just get a new pin, I'm still only looking at about $250.
xmag - 650
blue ule xvalved emag (working complete) - 350
classic emag (working complete) - 300
emag lowers that owner said did not work (included everything including charger) - 75.00 (It didnt work because the magnet was in backwards)
rtclassic & rt pro - 200
ti longbow barrel (ti series) - 10
I turned down a euro xmag for 550. (it now belongs to eric or did not sure where it is now). It hit me at time that tuition was due.
I am sure there is more. I buy paintball stuff untill my wife tells me to quit. Then I sell some of it, and send the money to her paypal acct. She gets happy, and I can buy again. sorta the 2 steps foward 1 step back kind of thing.

bought my dust black amazing condition x-mag, working ACE, came with warp, both breeches, x-mod installed, as well as various warp mounting brackets, the original box, and duplicates of extra lvl 10 parts - the works for only 1400 bucks shipped.
What I didn't find out until later is that the package also came with an extra E-mag board, and extra ACE board, an extra solenoid, and the x-mod installer. An extra $500~ in hard to find equipment, most of which isn't made anymore.
