Well, I'm making a DVD of how to maintain all my biggest selling markers.
They won't be super well done but will hopefully get the basics across. If there are any markers you'd like to see let me know.
Here are some clips

I'm going to redo them with alittle more info and better cinimatography. I'll post up the new ones once I finish them. Any suggestions of what you'd like to see or what needs added let me know. Any other markers you'd like to see just let me know as well and I'll see what I can do(sorry Rudz I failed for your request)

Maybe pull back a bit on the camera, just a smidge. Or do a more "top down" view. But really, i watched the Mini vid, and liked it, simple, easy, and now i know how to do it when i buy one. (i was thinking about it, but your endorsement really made me want one now....)

When you redo these vids, you should set the camera so that the table(a bigger one) you work on is in the frame. Use a solid colored tablecloth so that any parts you take off and set down is visible. I think that would be a big plus instead of you picking stuff that's too big for the small table off the floor. Another suggestion is to go over the tools and other stuff you would need to do these at the start of the vid.

BTW the Spyder xtra vid is cut short.

Good ideas. I am also thinking of putting a clip of the marker firing at the beginning of each clip.

06 Borg is probably one of the simpler ones.

Remove the ram cap in back, remove bolt, remove Ram Sleve and ram.

Lube up the ram, reinsert. Bam all done

Maybe a little lube on the bolt if it is of that type. Borg Maintenance is that easy, and goes for all models. Hell I switched out my ram (04 Borg to Chris's 06 no problem, his has problems becuase previous owner is a twit and can barely maintain a mag) Not as easy as say a mag, (drop oil in asa, screw in tank, dryfire w/o barrel, done)

But with a Borg you should not need to relube it that often. If you use the newer bolts with the orings then a bit of lube on it but thats about it.

So is the Cyborg based on the same operating principle as the Intimidator and Ego?

Hmm, not sure really. Basicaly a Borg is an electro Cocker. The ram acts as the hammer with the noid and air passages below it, and the 'dump' chamber up front is where the LPR is housed with a valve sitting right in the middle nearly identical to a cocker. just that the ram connects directly to the bolt via a pull pin instead of on a back cocking plate. Not that dissimilar.

Awesome videos, granted i knew how to keep the mini and spyder working (though i don't own a mini) but your video reminded me of why i was so obsessed with the mini, so i think that'll be my next marker, so i suppose i'll keep in the tradition of saving up to get a new marker each year, i'm hoping that i can save enough to get a new one though, because so far my only new marker was my spyder.

Thanks for making me fall in love again, and for making me second guess my mag obsession (i've been meaning to move away from using strictly mags).
