I for one am glad that this is almost over. I wish Garf had some experience with AO'ers, then he would have known what he was getting into. Its too bad though, it doesnt surprise me after watching him get roasted why there arent many making parts for mags. Now I wonder, since its going on 3+ years, how much longer CoolHand will be able to not deliver his frames before they start roasting him.
Hope theframe performs as well as expected for those who purchased.

It's sad that guys like Garf get trashed on, it really does kill off our mag loving future.

I'm impressed by his actions. Even in the face of the massive criticism, he still came through with a pretty professional looking product. He did a bit of the over-promise/under-deliver routine, but he followed through. If people think Garf is bad, they should look at the Devilmag fiasco, or the Punisher debacle.
Shoot, I was surprised to see that the whole Garf thing was only about a year old, while the Logic e frame deal is going on it's third year. Yet Logic gets off much easier. I wonder if it's because he posts updates, whereas Garf didn't post anything, and just got the frames done, albeit almost a year late. Even worse, there is still no way of telling how much longer the logic frames might be, as he is waiting to hear back from a board-maker that seems to be uninterested in finishing the project. Not good, though it might truly be just bad luck.
If the G-force frames work well, I might look to put a mag together at some point using one. I'd rather use a purpose-built frame than some kit-bash one, but that's just me.

Im not familiar with the Punisher thing. DevilMags were a fiasco, some got their frames, some didnt.
I think Logic gets off easier because he made it absolutely clear in his original post that it could take FOREVER. And it has. I could say more concerning, but whats the point...its 3 years, enough said.

I don't know the purpose built frame sounds good but will it truly outperform what the better built kit bash frames can do? From what I have seen in pics some of the kit bash stuff looks pretty smooth.
Still I am thinking I want one of these.

Being a G-Force customer, I have different opinions on the situation.
First, I commend G-Force for following through on a project and delivering (I finally have a tracking #). Although the long-term reliability of the frame remains to be seen, all-in-all it seems pretty solid. Based on Warbeak's vids, it also has the speed that G-Force has been claiming. (still need to see some paint fired though)
However...
We could say "no more 3rd party support for Mags... look at how G-Force was treated". I agree and disagree.
The problem is that G-Force made promises that they couldn't keep and also blatantly lied on several occasions. (I was told on the phone back in February that they just needed to go out for anno and final assembly and should only take 2 more weeks -- They weren't anno'ed until about a month or so ago)
If he had only told the truth the entire time and gave descriptive status updates, customers would have been more at ease of the situation.
When August 1st rolled around, many many customers were starting to believe that they were scammed. Even if he told us that he hasn't had the time to work on the frames for a month due to work/family/etc., it's better than no updates or false promises.
Combine the customers' frustration over the lack of updates with the internet-mob-mentality and things get messy quickly.
The Mag market is a very very niche (if not dying) market so it's understandable that 3rd party support would be non-existent. While this whole episode may have further prevented potential support from entering the Mag market, I at least hope that it gave everyone a lesson (customers and vendors alike)

I dont know if I would call them lies, but certainly delays. I think he wanted to deliver as quick as he could, so he gave the 'overpromise/underdeliver" as someone previously stated. Delays happen every day in the construction industry, among others, due to unforseeable things. We dont know all the details with G-Force, but the prototype may have worked perfectly, and then the production models had issues that he needed to be figured out, fixed, and possibly redesign. This has happened to even AGD, the delrin Superbolt is a perfect example.
Garf I think had good intentions. He just found out the hard way that his intentions dont matter. Most have found out that making parts for mag owners isnt worth the time. Nearly every company out there in this industry has at one time made parts for mags(Dye, Shocktech, AKA, Smart Parts, etc)...and now they dont. Wonder why?

another prime example would have been the tremendous wait for X-mags...most people waited an average of year to receive theirs...
