So, with all the new 08 stuff out or coming shortly what do you like the most or are most excited to see? Also what do you think failed?

I'm most excited for the Bob Long Vice and the Spyder RSX. The new Redz stuff is promising as well. I also hope to see more cool stuff for the Mini at the Comanders Cup this year. Save Phace has potential but needs alittle more work. The Tadao Yakuza boards, The Empire Magna is also cool but overpriced. The Virtue Screwed back plate is awsome.

Planet Eclipse failed all the way around this year, and from what I've seen and read most people are starting to agree that its nothing new and not cool anymore. S P failed again with theier new budget line. Kee failed when they decided to kill Evil(I liked that stuff) and with some of the color schemes on thier Empire gear. Virtue failed with their new line of pro cheating gear. Thats about all I can think of right now but I'm sure there is more.

Maybe its just me, but the 08 markers look an awful lot like th 07, and an awful lot like each other.

I guess I have outgrown the gotta have the model year stuff. Hell I still like the 05 Dye pants that I bought.. used.. in 06.

I feel for you retailers who now have to liquidate your 07 stocks so you can order the 08 stuff etc. etc. etc..

course I have been out of fashion since I don't fit in garanamals anymore.

I wait until this time of year to buy my presonal stuff as I can get the 07 stuff dirt cheap and I don't have a problem using older stuff(heck I'll be using my Marq 6 for a while now)

I think thats why the only marker I'm excited about this year is the Vice as it looks different than everything else and looks new. I am excited about the RSX because it will kill the I-o-n. But yes most companies are doing the same thing every year, actually Interest in Dye and Eclipse is really starting to suffer because its always the same.

Im really not to excited by anything new except the fact that I might be able to convert that DYE SLG frame to work on a mag :pimp:Usually I am intregued by the Dye stuff, but that new reg with the odd ball size threads really turned me off. Maybe this is the year I pick up a DM6 or 7.

I havent been interested in ANYTHING Planet Eclipse has done since the 06 Ego. Just not my style.

The Mini, although not for me and my beefy hands, I can appreciate.

I had heard Redz was working on some new stuff, but to tell the truth, I havent been paying attention.

The MacDev Droid looks very interesting, but I would have to see one in person to make up my mind. I was SOOOO disapointed with the the ******* I owned (BRIEFLY), and that Droid thing reminds me of them. I would love to check out an 08 Cyborg. Then again, I FINALLY got the 06 one I aquired up and running and there probably isnt much of a difference.

Most notably, I really like the looks of the new Timmy Protege. Gotta check one out at some point. The Vice im not to up to date on, but an curious.

The Vice is basically a more Milled version of the Protege.

As far as markers are concerned, I'm very happy with what I have and I've stepped off the merry-go-round. The only thing I'm interested in for "08" is the Scenario Dreams Universal-T board. It's priced right at 54.99 and if it works it could take the place of Morlocks and Predator Morlocks in future Mag conversion projects. We've been needing a reliable alternative to the Curt/Tag nonsense for quite a while now.
