This was the original RPG 15° ASA. It wasnt a product I planned on ever making. But I had customers who asked me to make them because the only other manufacturer making them wasnt shipping them timely.

Instead of making many different types and styles(single vs. dual, dovetail vs. flat-top), I settled on making a single style with the following features:

Dual Port
Mounts via the single 1/4-20 mounting bolt found on all Automag/MiniMag rails at that time
Dovetailed for use on the Automag/MiniMag rail
A flat-top adapter insert was available for those who had flat-bottomed rails
AGD ceased making Automag/MiniMag rails around the time Tom 'retired'. When Zupe took over, he brought the rail back into production so he could make Pro Classics with them and move the inventory he acquired from Tom. In the process though, the very first of the new Automag/MiniMag rails were made without the standard 1/4-20 hole, and instead came with dual 10-32 mounting holes to be used with the AGD Pro Vert ASA. This didnt make much sense, there were more classic mags with dovetailed ASA's at the time. I suggested to Zupe to make the rails with 3 holes(1- 1/4-20, 2 10-32), that way the rails would accept any mag ASA's. I dont know how many rails are out there with only the dual holes, but the remainder that were anodized to my knowledge had the 1/4-20 hole added as a result of my inquiry.

This Classic 15° ASA design has since been retired, and replaced by a slightly different design.

With that being said, here is the pic of the original 15° ASA:

Haha, I have an AM/MM rail that has the dual holes and it's for sale.
