Lets start out with what look like Recon Operators doing some shooting drills on deck. (I make this assumption because of their 1911's as the SEALs are currently using SIGs. I'm open to correction on this.)

Heres a shot from CONTOMS tactical medic school. In this excersize there is a swat team shooting over your head at targets behind you so you get use to bullets flying over your head and the guy next to you is shooting as well. Pretty cool stuff. I get to go thru the program and get my tactical certification this coming Summer and I can't wait. http://departments.weber.edu/ce/pd/paramedic/CourseDetails.htm

Gold Cross has sent medics in with SWAT on alot of occasions lately most noteably the recent Trolley Square shooting in SLC. I'm very excted to become tactically certified. The best way to spot a Gold Cross tactical medic in a situation is rubber gloves, a HUGE backpack, and no gun.

A few MOLLE Vest configurations and examples.
Vests Are usually setup with ammunition on the lower abdomen, with admin pouch up top if you're carrying maps or other items like that, utilities on the sides and water, etc on the rear if you've got a bladder. Seems pretty straightforward.

That weapon has not been the benchmark by which all other pistols are compared for so long because they suck.
Not saying there aren't better things out there nowdays, but still a very good choice.

My life plan after the USMC was to go Law Enforcement with the goal of SWAT.
Before the Marines I wanted to be a Deputy sheriff, Go swat, etc, but he told me that they're currently looking at people with actual CQB experience, Rangers, Marines, and the like.

I've heard that, I have no intention of being a SWAT officer but I'll be a SWAT medic when they need me even though the prospect of going into a situation like that without a weapon is alittle frightening.

There are others, but I hate 1911 raceguns, USPs, etc etc.

I think in the very first picture, the punisher head is Seal Team 3 out of Coronado Ca. I could be wrong though. They look much more from SPECWARGRU then they do from force recon. And they have that "I am going to kill you 2 times" look to them...
EDIT: Google image search confirms it is SEAL Team 3 -- that is their OIF patch ...

They look like 10 miles of bad road... The don't say a word except for one guy as he gets up he looks at me and says... "Now you can tell your grandkids you ate lunch with the Great 8." lol... I use to be the bad guy in SWAT training scenarios a few years back, it was awsome they treated it like a real situation so I've been in houses when they blew my baracades, I've been flash banged(I want some of those bad, they're awsome),and all sorts of other stuff.
