Ok, I know this is stupid, but it's been bugging me...So i have to ask. How do you store your markers?
I have 2 and they are always on my night table. I already have my third in sight for this summer but don't know where i will put it. You guys with over 5 markers, how do you do it? It must take a lot of space and stands.
If you have homemade stands, i would appreciate seeing them.

My extra parts in the cardboard box and my feild kit in the aluminium case.

My home made stand, i know it looks like a boat. I did the angle on the wrong side and didn't want to waste the LEXAN

I am going to put pegboard up.. right now they are all in my various gearbags, tool boxes, and cases. One nice thing about being divorced, is I can turn the small bedroom into my 'paintball' room! Woo woo!

I have the luxury of being able to get pistol cases very cheap so all my rigs reside in cases. There right behind me right now. Warm and cozy.

Though married, I am lucky enough to have my own little computer office/room that I can allow a certain amount of stuff to pile up in. I usually have a marker or two lying out and the rest are in cases, gun bags or original boxes. Get one of those fibre board upright cabinets at Home Depot and designate it for paintball related items. With four or five shelves you can store a lot of "junk" in them.

This is what I have.
I also have some old cabinets i scored on craigslist for free. I have pegboard on the wall between the countertop and the cabinets on the wall.

i have a rubbermaid 4 drawer container (2 big 2 small) that holds 90% percent of my gear, about half of my markers stay on top of that, often one or two are in pieces on my desk, and the rest lie around and on my bed.

I use an odd closet in the bedroom. I use a rubbermaid tub for the majority the markers and tools I have. I use a large gear bag for my markers, and a tote bag if I am going to only take one marker.

i'm glad that i'm not the only one putting them on display. I didn't know if it was normal or not
I never store them in there case. I'm broke because of them so i might as well look at them all year long and dream of next summer. :wall:

All over the place...:D
Mostly in cases but some are wrapped in towels. There are always 3 or 4 out on the work bench in various stages of builds.
At the moment one Pneumag and one Emaggo frame are out, under construction. ;)

My E-Mag and its associated hopper, tank, barrel, and allen key set have their own hard-side case with foam inserts. It stays in the case in my hall closet when at home. I have a large Rubbermaid box that holds all of my other regular gear that I take to the field. My pump Trilogy and its associates hopper, tank, and barrel stay at the top of that box. At the bottom of the Rubbermaid box is a box holding my mask and a toolbox with all my spare parts and a full range of tools. My pods, pod pack, and radios are wedges in there as well. There's enough room left over for paint and a few rolls of tape (athletic tape, duct tape, and masking tape).
That all makes it easy for me to pick up and go to the field on short notice. Just stack the E-Mag briefcase on top of the Rubbermaid and walk it all out to the Jeep.
I intend to get some additional cases when I get more markers, though.

Hey:
I use pegboards, and crates w/ foam packaging.
Both methods are cheap. Pegboard has the advantage of being able to find the gun(s) you are looking for quickly, BUT it takes up lots and lots of wall space (or can at least in my case). The crates take up less room, but you can't see what's in them without opening them up-(the gun you want to find is ALWAYS in the bottom crate-btw).

That is completely untrue. I have seen evidence that you just leave them on your lawn. :smarty:

Let's see...
There is two 22 gallon bins under the bed with various markers in them... I have a pump mag on the headboard. I think the 2k+ sniper, in parts, is under the foot of the mattress. There is the KP2 behind the door. The Zweilling is in the workshop stored under the bench...
Too damn many markers!
Almost forgot... The SFL is in it's own padded case, and CF00230 is currently in an ammo box wrapped in oiled cloth.

PS... No, I'm NOT selling! ;) And even if I did, there are at least 3 people that "have dibs"... Sorry all. :(

on the wall... i display my art!
My go-to-field gear is always in two heavy military transport cases.
I have no idea where all of my stuff is. Some is out in the storage shed, some is in a dedicated drawer in my closet, some is at work, some is....well, I don't really know:smarty:

I like the pegboard idea, I am still considering some sort of shelving thing though that has stands or something.. more classical then the pegboard..
For now they are in the gear bag until I get home and have time to roll around the floor and play with them all again.

I don't like pegboards, they're just not aesthetically pleasing. If I had one it'd have to be in the garage, and that's no place for my markers. If I had stands they'd match the furniture and my markers would be strategically to match the decor :)
But I don't have much furniture at the moment, so they stay in the closet.

That is what I did. I bought a big metal/plywood shelving unit and put in the corner of my room. It holds all of my stuff and more.

I keep all of my gear in my mega body bag with a small padlock so my kids can't get to anything. I leave my reg and tank disassembled and the batteries out of my hopper in the event I forget to lock the bag. Although my kids are 8 and 12, I don't want any accidents to happen...

[...]
Mostly in pieces. I do so much tinkering anymore, I just leave my markers in pieces scattered around my workshop after cleaning them. Then, I just spend about an hour finding the parts for paintball on the rare occasion I actually get out to play.
Sad, but true.
There was a time I had nice cases for my PB guns, but those cases have long since been commandeered by real guns.

My temporary accomodations here in Atlanta do not offer the room for my gear bag...

My guns are all up in the attic :candle: in hard cases with padding and locks.
They are in the attic because it is the one place my wife will never go.
If she does ever see what I have accumulated over the last year I will simply tell her they are all lasrsktr's.
