I miss this one. This is what it ended up as before I parted it out. I played with this gun in various forms from about 1994 or 1995. I think I still have the valve.. maybe I will rebuild it. (Without the ********** barrel)

I got that Alias in a straight up trade for the Angel with the DM5 frame. The Angel was awesome, but I never took a real liking to it for some reason. I am thoroughly enjoying the Alias. Its in A+ condition, and has surprised me with how well it shoots on more than one occasion.

I have been considering upgrading it to a Virtue board. However, I really dont need the firepower. I do like the idea of it being a little easier for me to adjust and whatnot.


I finally seem to have that cursed 06 Rangerz Borg all fixed up. I havent had a chance to chrony it, so I need to replace the dead LP gauge on the side of it so I can get a ball park idea if im even close to having it set up correctly.

I did see a noticeable drop off from the hammer at high rof. If I turned up the LPR too high the gun sounded like a cannon, and I read specifically that is not right. So I think Im pretty close now. All I really need is to get some decent paint and chrono it.

On your brother's e-mag, is that a custom lo-rise body? I mean it looks like the standard twistlock barrel, but the feednecks on the vert bodies were like 8' tall. I really like the way that looks on that one.

Nah, thats a stock 'no rise' stainless steel body. Im not sure if there are many still around. Tuna built that gun for me and my sister in law and he had a couple laying around. Since the matching barrel was twist lock we went with that instead of a ULE. (Also to save some $$)

Yeah, ive been collecting parts for it. I picked up a couple of barrels, and Atach did the feedneck mod for me. Im just waiting on a noid from Tuna so I know for sure the damn thing works before I send it out.

Im still trying to decide what color(s) I want to do. Im a dust black kinda guy.. but I dont know if I want to do that to the SFL.

Gruntbull did an Xmag for me (for someone) recently that came out incredible. Im definitely sending it to him, I just cant decide on colors. Im thinking maybe a dust silver base with a black acid wash.
