OLED FEATURES & NEW YAKUZA BOARDS
OLED (organic light emitting diode)
* More power efficient than LCD (liquid crystal) because each pixel emits light, so power draw is proportional to the number of lit pixels
* Sealed during the manufacturing process so it's very durable, moisture resistant, vibration resistant
* Ultra bright, easily read in direct sunlight or at night
ABB (anti-breech bounce)
* One of the biggest new software features developed by Tadao Technologies
* Dramatically reduces the chance that the last few balls in a powered loader are not chopped when they're thrown down the feed neck and actually bounce off the bottom of the breech
* Non-adjustable feature runs in the background but monitors the feed rate and adjusts the ball-in-place delay on the fly along with a dedicated eye scanning mode to ensure a ball stays in front of the eyes when the rate of fire slows down
MODE/FIRING CHANGES
* 10 distinct firemodes (instead of 12, due to consolidating the ramping modes)
* Specific PSP, Millennium, and normal ramping modes
* New ramping percentage adjustable from 10% to 500% which scales with the user
* Rate of fire adjustable from 10 to 30 bps with 1/2 millisecond fine cycle time tuning
OLED SCREEN FEATURES
* Displays set rate of fire, current rate of fire or game timer, current fire mode, battery level and eye status, all at the same time
* Extremely fast text-based menu
* Real time rate of fire with average or maximum modes
* Adjustable game timer, 1-20 minutes with 10-second countdown sync
* Adjustable brightness for use in scenario play or night play
* Adjustable text size for the current rate of fire and game timer (Geezer mode?)
BOARD HARDWARE FEATURES
* 16 Mhz processor
* 4 million times per second interrupt based trigger scan rate
* Built-in RF loader support via plug & play wiring harness
GUN SPECIFIC FEATURES
Marq/Closer/Protege/Vice
* Will include grips with window
* Fully utilizes the 4C eye system and shows the number of eyes currently running along with top/bottom eye indication on the OLED screen
* Removable OLED screen module allows the user to optionally purchase additional OLED screens in different colors
* Tentative release date: Late December 2007 - January 2008
The ABB feature is greatly needed in alot of markers today. They sound pretty cool.
