I want someone's opinion on the Droid! I nominate ElPanda. I have been wanting to read a non PBN overview and I have not found anyone locally with one to shoot or ask about. Speak to me!
Also very clean collection.

I too love the Ego and would like a "non PBN" opinion of the Droid.
I plan to purchase an 07 Ego this spring and that is the color I am looking for.
Very clean and very expensive collection!

Ill do a brief review on both...
droid : first and foremost, smooth. The smoothest marker I have ever shot, even compred to a DM. Internally it would rank on par with the DM in terms of you will need a rebuild kit on hand if you plan on playing seriously with it (orings, it has em'). Fantastic efficiency for a spool valve marker due to the design. Also very quiet. essentially its like having a nicely tuned DM out of the box that nets you +500 more shots per fill
the marker easily runs at < 110 psi pressures with stock settings (not broken in either). Basically Macdev did a fantastic job designing this marker, and you can not go wrong at least trying one out esspecially with MD's great customer service now that they have techs and reps in the states. Only thing that ever bugged me was the frame is a little wide, but that is player preference I suppose.
ego 7 : amazing build quality, and rock solid reliable. Typically speaking ego's are loud markers so if you like to be somewhat stealthy on the field you may want to look elsewhere.
very easy to maintain, just oil on the ram and cleaning
typically the only thing that ever goes wrong on them is the qev diaphragm leaking and of the 2 07 ego's I have owned this has never happened. very comfortable frame as well.
essentially if you want a work horse of a marker then look no further, I prefer the 07 ego over any other in the line (even the 09) since it is the same size, comes with most of the bells and whistles and can be found very cheap used.
and LFD, this particular ego will be for sale in the near future (as in the next week or so) so I will pm you the thread when my friend puts it up.
also here are vids of both...

Another question, hows the Luxe? They are sick looking and high priced! But are they worth it? By the way at retail it looks like over 5 grand in that picture and it's a beautiful collection at that! Feyd.

Id shoot a luxe if it wasnt made by smart parts, and if it cost like 400 less NIB
but now that bob long is trying to bust into the luxe's spot I think I will be heading that direction next...my old darq was an amazing piece of technology, IMO up there with the droid in terms of design, and if this new marq is what it claims to be then Im in trouble, as I need to find money soon...
