First off I gotta say it was one of the best vacations i've taken. The landscape was incredible, and just the people in general were great.

We were staying at my stepmom's sisters house in Kerry which is pretty much the country.

And yes, the Guiness was amazing

View from the front of the house
We climbed this mountain, but I didn't have the camera with me..I should of because it was the clearest day and the view was great

Ross Castle, the last one is a view from the front side of the castle. This castle served as a huge defense point for the Irish during the 1500's

We hit some pretty good spots since we had my stepmoms family showing us everything. Her brother in law took us driving through the Gap of Dunloe which was straight through the mountains from Ladies View.

This is a spot in the middle of nowhere in the Gap that's called Black Valley. It's made up of about 10 houses, a little general store, and a church..they didn't get electricity untill 1978.:ooo:

This was part of the ruins of a hunting lodge in the Gap, couldn’t get any closer because it was closed off for the winter.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Ireland is pretty much the only place in Europe I would consider going back to for any length of time.

yeahh it was awesome. Scott you were right the Guinness was delicious. After 5 pints in an hour and a half before dinner, I ended up passing out after eating lolll. Those Irish can pound the pints tho omg...all they drink is guinness, carlsburg, and harp non stop pint after pint..it's ridiculous

I'm going to Dublin for a long weekend starting December 6th.

We were in Kerry, 10 minutes from Kilarney and I don't know how far dublin was from us, but I know it was a decent drive.

If this helps, Kerry is 2 hours from shannon airport...you should be flying into there

We're actually flying directly into DUB.

Actually looking at a map now, Dublin is basically on the opposite cost (closer to England).
