I know a couple of you play pump and know allot about them.
Besides wanting an AKA, I think a pump marker would be other thing on the wish list.
I was looking at a Stock Class Sterling. Any comment on this marker? Or maybe any suggestion as to buy another one?
Of course I was also looking at the CCM S6, but they are in another price range :) But if they are that much better, maybe I could check them out.
thanks :)

Who called my name? Seriously, that's my real name !!! They are a fantastic marker and have been around forever. they also have brick like reliability (much like a phantom and mag) Definately a first class pump

Thanks :) I see that there are not many Sterlings around.
How are they compared to the CCM S6.
Since I keep hearing the S6 is the ''best'' pump marker :)
Edit: So Sterling is your actual name :) hahah good one

The CCM is considered the cream of the crop because it is so smooth and reliable. Plus it's CCM, and their reputation for quality is spotless. Next down on the hierarchy are the Sterling's and Phantom's as far as ease of maintenance and reliability. Then you have Cocker pumps/Lapco pumps right in line with them. I have shot a Sterling pump and it was almost like shooting a CCM.
And yes.... my real name is Sterling:wthumpup: :nana:
*EDIT* I forgot to mention the Carter Buzzard or even the Carter Phuzzard...:slap: on my part

Im gonna call you SC Sterling from now on :rofl2:
i hear they are excellent markers, never got to shoot one, but i think im going to have to add it to my arsenal... after the blazer, the ccm tube gun, lapco grey ghost, and another mag.....:wall:
anyway, in terms of quality they are just below the CCM and far above the Phantom and grey ghost

yeah I have heard the Sterling was a bit like the grey ghost. But I really like the fact I can switch the sterling from open the class pretty easily.

haha yeah I know what you mean. I am starting a list here and it's a scary one. Well it's a scary one for my wallet and bank account.. :rofl2:

They are a good marker, I'd say pretty on par with the Grey Ghost and Sniper.

I've shot my STP since April 2009
Great pump - light, smooth and accurate. The internal slam fire works a treat, and Spyder threaded barrel is a bonus too. Had the feed stub work loose a couple of time, partly blocking feed mid game. Good customer support to - Arrow supplied replacement frame screws (dropped one out) in 2 days free of charge.

Thanks for the info. I actually ended up getting one, but I never used it in a game. It was really fun to shoot out in the backyard.. now I need to try it in a game :)
