This was the first feedneck I ever offered. It was a collet-type hopper fastening system. It was made specifically for AGD ULE bodies, but I had customers purchase them for use on Angels as well.
This feedneck came stock on the original Exile bodies. It also was offered as an option on DeadlyWind Karta/Dallara bodies.
This design had its advantages and disadvantages. One major drawback to this design was that it could only tighten hand-tight. For many at the time, this was not necessarily a drawback. Hopper necks often snapped when taking a hard dive, so the fact this neck would 'give a little' was for some a benefit. Hopper necks are much thicker these days, making this much of a non-issue.
This product life cycle had a short span. It was retired, and replaced with the clamp design made popular by CCM.
These feednecks were available in Bright Black, Matte Black, and Raw/Unanodized. Due to the knurling, it was not possible to polish them for a glossy finish.
