This was the first and original MiniTac. This marker was offered a few years back as the 'whole package' at a phenomenal price. There were 8 made available in 2 configurations; The 'MiniTac' and the 'MiniTac Pro'(listed below). They were meant to be a limited edition unless there was an overwhelming demand. It took nearly 6 months to sell all 8, and they only really started moving when AGD raised their price on the Tac-One. Needless to say, the demand was not overwhelming.
The MiniTac was only available as a whole marker even though there were a handful of requests for just the body. Due to the desire of the body, there are some custom shops that cut down Tac-Bodies to be similar to these. Its unlikely though that they are originals due to the limited quantities made available.
The MiniTac had all the features of an AGD Tac-One, plus these added features:
Features:
~Custom Dust Black Ano (Bead Blasted for that finished dust look - a $100+ value!)*
~Custom Machined Body (Shortened & Lighter - a $100 Value!)*
~Machined for Dual Detents (a $30 Value!)*
~Comes with a 2nd Detent (an $8 value!)*
~RPG Splinter Classic or ViperBlade Classic (your choice - a $30 value)*
~90* Black Aluminum Fittings & Shrink Wrapped Hose (a $40 value!)*
~Black Aluminum Grips Screws (a $10 value!)*
The MiniTac Pro had all the features of the MiniTac, plus these upgrades:
Features:
~ Matching Dust Black RPG Sub-Zero Clamping Feedneck (a $35 value)*
~ Matching Dust Black RPG Ultra Light Frame (a $30 value)*
~ Matching Dust Black Dual RPG ReTents Rebuildable Detents (a $40 value)*
~ Matching Dust Black RPG Gas-Thru (a $30 value)*
Here is a pic of the MiniTac Pro:

Ajnin, I am not an idiot as mine was not an original mini tac body. The previous owner had it milled down and it only had one detent. Theoretically it was just a run of the mill tac body, nothing special.

I was as surprised as anyone that these werent in higher demand.
A few years prior to their release, there were scenario-types who complained that AGD didnt make a 'complete package' geared towards them with matching dust parts, and all the bells and whistles. The MiniTac was created to solve this.
I tried to explain that there is always the 'dream', that there is something that someone wants but doesnt really want when push comes to shove. For example, Id like to own a Ferrari, but the cost is more than is practical[for me]. Even though the price for this marker was phenomenal(only about $100 more), I have to imagine that most compared it to an upped 98Custom. Which made it impractical in comparison.
Sometimes I have to offer things like this just to see that there isnt truly demand.

I've got a Mini Tac Pro. :)
I'm using it in the pic of me in the PBL banner. :)
Only thing I changed on it was taking OFF the RPG foregrip... don't like the look (no offense)... and put on a regular old awesome Bike Grip. :)
I'll never sell it. :budo:

None taken. You arent the only one that preferred the bicycle grip. The majority of those who purchased a MiniTac Pro swapped out the RPG Gas-Thru for the AGD bicycle grip.

I'd really like one of your modified bike grips... the shortened ones... in dust black. Those were yours right? Those are sweet.
Obummer... maybe I'll come across one someday.

I think you are referring to the RPG Stick Grip (http://www.pblegion.com/showthread.php?t=3585)

Ive had some ideas for a MiniTac of my own for a few years. With the new RPG body on the horizon, it may be time to make it a reality.
