The Recon Rail was was geared towards the Tac-One crowd, and created as an alternative to the Splinter Rail for those who wanted something with a few less cuts and curves. As with all RPG rails to this point, it was machined from an AGD Slug rail.

It was not as vanilla as the Shadow rail, but not as curvy as the Splinter. A middle-ground so to speak. This rail also included the rear slot for the ingenious tinkerers to attach whatever accessories they might come up with.

At one point, this rail came standard one of the years models of RPG Paradigm. It was a nice rail, but was retired when demand waned.

The Recon rail was only offered in gloss black and dust black.

And for the pic

I still like this rail a lot for its simplicity. It was definitely a good match for my green E-Mag, as there's really no curves anywhere on that gun :coolshades:

Thats exactly why I liked this rail too. The design wasnt radical, and it wasnt overly plain. It struck a nice balance between the two.

One of my big gun mistakes was parting with mine after I got my Karta. Didn't realize at the time how hard it would be to find emag length rails without holes in the side. :wall:

I wish I had kept mine, but I sold it for pennies. It is pretty much my favorite of the emag length rails.
