anyone disc golf????

so just wondering if any of you guys disc golf. i just started and i find being unemployed its a good way to spend a few hours outside for nothing. my little girls even like it. the wife is catching on as well.

I know quite a dew people who play like everyday. They enjoy it so much cause like you said it costs next to nothing to play.

yeah some of my friends try to get me out of the house about every other day, but i can't always make it.

I played it when I was 12. It was fun then, but I doubt I will get the same thrill out of walking that far now. If they allowed carts and adult beverages it would be more entertaining.

thats funny you say that. its like every disc bag i see on the course has a beer or two sticking out of it. we have trash cans at every other hole, and they always have beer bottles in them. i was thinking of bringing a cooler of soft drinks and making a round or two just to see if there is any interest in that sort of thing on my course.
not sure if i could get away with selling brews though. my course where i live is prety packed on the weekends and has a steady flow of people on the weekdays. i could make a killing if i was out there everyday. hummmm.......:thinking:

It's probably been 9 years since I last played disc golf. There is a nice 18 hole course about 30 min from me. The private boarding school I work at also has 9 holes set up but they are never used. I haven't thought about playing in years, maybe I'll give it another go. :wthumpup:

Lol, everyday is a bit different for me which is nice. I do alot of medical drives. I deal with all the mail and packages that come in and out of the school. Oh and I supervise the weightroom and cardio room during sports. And yes I do some on On Duty work. When Im OD, I do roam the campus looking for mischief. :D

Oh yeah! Absolutely. In fact, my teammates rib me about it pretty hard. Last year, I kind of took a break from paintball for a couple months. A lot of times I was out playing dg. Played yesterday afternoon, and it wasn't nearly as fun as paintball. :D

yeah i can't say the thrill factor is there, but when your broke and its perfect weather out side........... this is how i try to injoy myself. the boy and i go out while the girls are at school. and i have the dog cary the discs and water in his backpack. :wthumpup:
