Found this gem on PBN...

One of the original pioneers of Paintball and co-founder of PMI, Jeff Perlmutter has announced his return to the Paintball Industry.

Perlmutter along with his partner David Freeman are credited with innovating and promoting a little known recreational activity starting in 1982 and developing it into a mainstream sport now known by millions worldwide as Paintball. The entity they founded, Pursuit Marketing Inc. (PMI) started out in a suburb of Chicago as a marketing and distribution company promoting a business opportunity targeting entrepreneurs who wanted to be their own boss in a commercial outdoor amusement/game business. Over their 25 year run, their company grew to become one of the largest and most successful manufacturer and distributor of paintball game products with sales of almost $90 million at its’ peak. The company was sold in 2006.

Perlmutter’s new venture Paintball Parks LLC. intends to acquire a number of existing paintball gamefield business throughout the USA that fit particular criteria and have a potential for growth. His new organization will provide operating expertise and capital for facility improvements as well as comprehensive marketing and promotional programs to increase consumer awareness of Paintball among their targeted demographics.

An important element of their acquisition strategy will be to partner with current gamefield owner/operators who have knowledge and experience about the business in order to help build a strong management team to assist in driving growth of the new venture. After 25 years in the Paintball business Perlmutter understands that good human resources are among the most valuable assets that a company can have, especially when it comes to Paintball.

Paintball Parks LLC. welcomes contact from anyone who might have interest in selling their existing paintball gamefield business, has land available (minimum 35 acres) for this purpose, or might know of an opportunity that fits the scenario described above. Please contact Jeff Perlmutter preferably via e-mail @ pbking1@aol.com or by telephone @ 1-847-337-8700

I will presume there is a relationship between the 2, considering their history and the NPS/PMI merge into Kee. Im sure if you dig through the SEC filing(linked in the PBN thread), youll find whats been missed. I didnt write the story, just linked it...

Well this weekend I did have a chance to talk and see if I can get more info, and it sounds good. Unfortunately I don't have much to say at this time except for my friend, who is long time friends with Jeff, is going to give him a call this week.

He was very excited about his return, and I hope to relay some information back to you guys as soon as possible. :)
