Vforce Profilers. Not too small, not too big. Thats my preference.

hahahaha...

Can't go wrong with the profiler.. and if you wear glasses, as I do, these are by far the most comfortable masks with the specs on.

Is that the official "Goose-wear" for paintball?

I'm still playing with my Proteus after 6 years. I don't plan on getting rid of them until JT stops making lenses.

One brand/model of mask will fit everyone's head differently. I say line up your favorites and then try them all on for fit. If that sweet-looking $89 Grillz mask doesn't fit your face comfortably, it's gonna stay at the bottom of the gear bag.

Profilers, or Protos are the best bang for the buck I think

I went with the Vforce Grillz. The lenses change EASY, the foam is replaceable for us sweaty fat guys, and I have not been able to fog them yet. They sit close to your face is my only complaint, so they restrict breathing a bit, that's why I suggested the profilers.

Protos are heavy, but they provide good protection, fast change lenses, and I had to be in really adverse situations to get a ring of fog on the lenses.

I like grills. They feel much better to me than my old profilers did and lens changing is easier. The easy change foam is nice but I haven't had to replace it yet.

Scott, I would go with the profilers. I used to own a pair and felt they were excellent. I own the vents now and Im pretty sure the Profilers cover more of the chin/cheek area.

Yep, there cheap, light, affordable, and onces you get hit you just make another one. There is one small problem though, and that is it doesnt offer to much protection agains face shots. Nothing to bad, if your leet like me.:D

I am not a person who likes change. My first set of goggles were JT and have continued to use JT. They are light, flexible and breathe well.

i just HATE changing lenses on the damned things!!! And th efoam goes to crap, and you are done.

I use a pair for reffing becasue I can be heard easier.

yeah my only complaint on the evetnts is the chin coverage, but than again my goat sticks out another everal inches below my chin anyways, i was thinking of trying some new profilers

i do wear a bandanna bandit style to keep paint out of my beard, and never fails, whenever i dont, i get to either taste paint of get paint in my beard. i like my flexes, but sometimes they flex, a lil too much, took a nice shot to the mouth a lil while back at hsp, walked off eating paint and took a nice shot to the mouth, but i like em too much to stop wearing em

I have 4 masks, I tend to use the Grill more than I do my Profiler, Proflex or Vents mask. I like the grill cause I can change the foam out rather quickly. I sweat a lot and that gets factored in my choice of mask.

I would recommend the Grill as others have. I have had a Proteus which was a fantastic goggle but the optically correct lens that is super easy to change on the Grill is definitely one of the main reasons for me. Fit and function my man....."Outlaw5"

Ill also say Profiler's. My wife and I got some this summer..so far they have been pretty good. One case of condensation on a colder day.
Have to say the lenses are really easy to take out...like 15 seconds.

Yup. I have one, but i´m favoring my old V-force shield over the grill lately. The grill is indeed a nice mask, but it fogs up faster than a profiler, and is less comfortable to wear.

I'll stick with shield/profilers from now on. :D

I know mongoose had a huge fogging problem at fox4paintball last month with his grillz..didn't seem like the new thermal technology they use on their lense was working at all. I wore my friends I3's for the first part of the day and they were fogging up like crazy ...switched to my good old flex 7's and not a hint of fog:wthumpup:

That's odd. I haven't experienced any fogging problems with my grills. My profilers used to fog up a lot, but the grills not at all. (not doubting your story just giving my own experiences)

If you're lense is quite new there should be no problem, but eventually it will start to fog. With my shield mask (uses profiler lense) i hardly have any problems with fogging, but i did have problems with the grill. The lense i use in my shield is older than that one from the grill, but never fogged up on me even in humid weather.
