I picked up a mag that was used and abused for a really cheap price and when I got it I immediately took it apart. When I took the bolt off, part of the valve came with it and is stuck inside the bolt. What's a good way to dislodge it so I can go about breaking it all down to clean it.

Should I just soak it in soapy water?

what bolt? im guessing it was the power tube tip right the lil brass piece? a lil hot water with some soap should work if not get some good ol PB blaster and soak it really well. it should come out of there after those but you may need a long allen wrench to slide down to it to tap on to get it free'ed up and if that doesnt work PM me i have seval tips and bolts that are just sitting here :D

I'm not entirely sure what bolt it is. I'll take pics when I get home. Yeah, the little brass piece. I was able to take a small Allen wrench and get it moved down a little, but it's stuck. I'll try some warm water and soap.

Oh, and I appreciate it!!

Well, I took another allen wrench and was able to knock the tip out of the bolt. Turns out it had broken in half. I pulled the spacer and washer out and then pulled the tip, spacer and washer out of a valve I have that is leaking and swapped them out. The valve actually works well. It's a Matching numbers Mini Mag valve with 4 stars!

Dend, I'm gonna PM you about another tip!:D
