I just checked out the PBn BST, and it's almost entirely 09 Egos, Geo's, and luxes. All of which look like °°°°, and one of which is made by °°°°ing smart parts of all companies.

Oh the random Dm9 thrown in there for good measure. I saw someone offer his 09 ego, plus $100 for someone elses different color ego.. DIFFERENT ANNO!!

I hate agglets :wall:

You already said it but basically I look at the resale price of any marker 3 years old or older. Even now in 2009 my stock unmilled 04 Excal has more value than almost any other marker (excluding AGD and Palmers) to 2007 and in some cases 2008.

Resale values speak for themselves. The most brutal at this point in time is the WDP A1.

$1200 retail trading all day long for less than $400 new. Ouch.

I honestly can't imagine °°°°ing away as much money as these guys have to be doing what they are doing.

I keep a tally of where I am, whether "in the hole" or "up on the house" so to speak in my paintball dealings. As of right now I am even, and thats where I will try my best to stay.

But these guys? 2k for a sl94, which will sell for 800 in 2 years, whereas my excals will only sell for more as time goes on! :wall:

I love my sheridans.... as long as they are well kept they will stay for what I bought them for. about $100-$150... I actualy put a stock on my PMI-1 and the value Trippled! $100 marker, $100 BB gun, a little elbow grease and I have been quoted $450-$500 for it. I like markers that go up in value as you own them..... I can't stand the AGG electro thing. "I want the newest marker for $XXXX that will do the same thing as my 3 year old $5XX marker" it just doesn't make sense to me.....

i have watched markers all go down in price....i remember years ago,boy would i like that marker/or own this marker, but could not afford it...now all those markers are affordable now, maybe not knew, but still affordable...

i have a small amount of markers, plus 3 pumps (low end) from low end to high end i guess, but aquired markers along the way, for my 3 sons to have and use...believe it or not i still use all of my markers and mix them up for game play, through out the year....all have meant something to me along the way...and all of them work, including my be tiger shark pump, which started me in this great game of paintball...

my 2 cents worth......thegrayghost......

The other thing that really grinds my gears is this 1 of 1 bull°°°° when its just an anno job that differentiates it..

A custom anno job does not make that marker 1 of 1, it just doesn't, you can sit there and claim it does all you want; but 500 other guys have the same exact marker with different anno for sale TODAY in other threads.

god I hate that

Actually I sell all of my stuff as 1 of 1.... I take a paint pen and draw a smiley face on every one of em....

Gets me 3 times the amount of a normal sell. I just sold a Proto SLG with a bad board for $650!!!!

But shhhhhhh:glare:.... Keep it on the downlow...

Just thought I'd let the PBL brethren in on it the deal...

Use it sparingly or the PBNites may catch on...

I've never understood this mentality either. I've always been a huge fan of sticking with a marker that feels good in your hands and keeping it. To buy a brand new $800 - $1000+ marker EVERY YEAR is a huge waste.

Case in point: my brother shoots an 06 Ego that he bought used for $450. It has been very well maintained over the years and shoots better (in my opinion) than a brand new 09 Ego. But yet he keeps talking about getting one. He says it's to get the latest software and such. I tell him to just buy a new board for $100 or so and call it a day.

Kids these days just don't understand the value of a dollar...which doesn't seem to be much right now.

im actually attempting to sell my orracle ... i just can't deny the pool of possible buyers that use the site...

that being said... i've never had so many offers i didn't want... I am however still respectful and nice about declining an offer.

the place isn't that bad if you use google search to find exactly what you want.
