Mag serial numbers

I can't remember if I've ever seen this question answered before or not.

Does anyone know if mag valve serial numbers are sequential or not?

Just curiosity.

I have a bit of information... Recalled from a forum post on AO, so please correct me if my memory has failed...

Tom Kaye stated that the earliest serial number should be CF00100. All prior numbers were assigned to prototypes.

As to the serial numbers being sequential... I believe so, but I don't have any proof positive.
