I plan on checking this game out. For those of you who don't know, Davis is located near Sacramento. There's expected to be over 300 players playing and looks like they're giving away some nice prizes such as an 09 Eclipse Geo and custom CCM pump. Cost is $20 and include entry fee, all day air, and lunch, which is usually hot dogs, chips and soda. Here the link to the game. I'll be sure to take lots of pics for those of you who can't make it.

Ajnin, we were looking for you guys. Both Gen and i were looking for players with mags, swords, and fatal paint jerseys, but there were so many people that showed up on the field, it became a pretty tough task. I should have walked around the parking lot, but as soon as each game was over, I got back to my bench and was too tired to move. Saturday was a really good time, but too freakin hot during the afternoon. Thank goodness we got to the field early and secured a parking spot and bench under the shade, across from the fill station.

The big games throughout the day were a lot of fun, but I ended up playing speedball on the NPPL field entirely after lunch. I don't know if you guys had a chance to play on that field, but that was the best airball field i've ever played on. Lots of bunkers to hide behind and that turf was just amazing. It was so thick and spongy i wanted to sleep on it. I was surprised and happy to see how the more advanced players made it a point not to overshoot the small kids that walked on the NPPl field. I'd hear players from the sidelines screaming out "hey, it's a kid behind the dorito, take only snap shots at him." And before games, players on teams would tell each other "if you find yourself one on one with a beginner or kid let him shoot you." I was definitely happy to listen to this type of talk amongst the players on the field.

Lots of cool prizes during the raffle at the end of the day. I wanted to win that 09 Eclipse Geo or CCM Pump, but I ended up with two $10 gift certificates from a paintball store in Vacaville and a HyperdrivePB chip for a Vlocity hopper. BTW, if anyone wants the chip i'm selling it for $15 shipped.:D Overall, it was a fun day and I will definitely be back here to play again next month or the next Big Game Day.

I'll be posting pics soon.
