Alright, we did the Summer movie thread and it seemed to work pretty well. How about we keep this kind of thing going. So if you go to the movie theatre post up which movie and if it is a yay or nay. :D



District 9 - I finally got to the theatre to see it. I expected more from the movie but I would have to say I still enjoyed it.

The Final Destination 3D - Hahaha so cheesy that I enjoyed it. As a movie it really wasn't good but it was entertaining enough in 3D.

District 9 - Okay movie, Camera work made me severely motion sick though, watched most of the movie looking at the theatre floor.

Moon - Good Sci-fi movie. Limited theatre release. Sam Rockwell as the main actor & Kevin Spacey voice-acting.

Inglorious Basterds - ***** (Five Stars)

Outstanding movie. If you love Tarantino dialog banter, you will love this movie. Has some very good gory scenes as well. 2-1/2 hours long but time well spent.

I totally agree! The beginning scene and the bar scene was so intense and the dialogue between the characters was just brilliant! The movie went by so fast it's hard to believe we sat there for 2-1/2 hours.....I still wanted more.

Saw Whiteout with Kate Beckinsale. This suspenseful movie takes place in the South Pole with murders and some nasty weather. I liked it, fun movie.

I enjoyed this greatly. The 3D was fantastic. There were times when I thought I could reach and touch things.
I saw this in an IMAX theater

Go see it well worth the price.

Wow really? The 3D was that good? I may need to rethink my movie selection this week.

Even on a normal screen it is great. My only complaint was the rehashed story line. The CGI makes up for it, but it is predictable on every level.

man, everybody I talk to that saw this movie say it's so good. I really gotta go see it. And yeah, heard the 3D is excellent. :D
