So i have all my plans laid out for my new anno, and parts going in and out to finance it. I started this particular mag project with the hopes of making it a pnuemag. Two reasons for this, 1. Its unique and interesting. 2. I hoped it would allow me the walking ability to sustain higher rates of fire like my Emag did (obviously without modes)

Upon readin some other stuff on them though, i realized i have zero idea how this will actually shoot. I just never bothered to ask. Go figure. So, my simple question is: how easy is it to walk these? Pnuemagger is going to do my setup i beleive. I have the RPG Chimera frame (love this thing). So what will the trigger pull feel like? As light as my emag, almost as light...what? Give me some idea. I liked the GForce videos off AO, and they made it look super duper light and easy, but im too in love with my RPG frame to let it go.

Nevermind all that.
I went and watched every pnuemag video on youtube. Seems easy enough to me.

I think im making the right choice.

It all depends on how you build it. ;) Do some research before you start cutting and drilling.

Jeff the pull on a correctly built pneumag is awesome. Easily walkable, the pull does take some getting used to though

Are you kidding me?!? Im far too stupid to do something like that by myself. :p

Thats why im sending it to a proffesional: Pnuemagger.

Why does it take some getting used to tOnn? Explain please.

Hard to explain, the pull is awesome. I can shoot as fast as I can with my mini, BUT you can short stroke a mag. When I first had the pneumag out I was chuffing like mad...after a few times out I got the trigger down and now I can rip it....same concept as a cocker or any other mag, you have to have a full pull and release to get a complete shot and recycle...except the pull is as short as an electro

I dunno if thats just a bunch of blabber..but like I said it's hard to explain, and maybe it's just my opinion i'm not sure how others felt about getting the pull down and letting it rip

all in all you'll love the pneumag...everytime me and mongoose bring em out we always get "omg I can't believe that's mechanical" and I usually get "oh is that an angel" hence the chimera---very good choice to pneumag too, there's a lot of room in there to mount the 3-way very low

This was done by Cyberave, my pull is extremely light because he mounted it so low

Actually, thats a good explanation tOnn. Makes sense. I hadnt considered still being able to short stroke it.

Still, im pretty comfortable walking triggers. I think it comes from years of being a bassist. So im looking forward to it. Its just some other thread where people were commenting on how they couldnt walk thier pnuemags got me kinda worried.

Honestly, I think some people can't walk them is because they cram and 3way so high it just messes up the pull. I've seen many that have the lever cut shorter than the body of the 3way itself ...I'm sure pneumagger will do a great job, like I said there's so much room in the chimera to mount it low...mine as well make good of all the space right?

how come i don't see the lever in the 3-way taken off and a longer rod placed in the 3-way? thats what i was going to do with mine, i just haven't got to it yet.

so the rod goes from the trigger to the 3-way direct.

The lever softens the pull. It has a lower pivot point and the longer the lever the less force needed to pull it. There are a few made without the lever on there. I dont know how there set ups are but i have seen a few. It looked like to me that the pin came out somewhere in the middle of the trigg too. IIRC I think is easier to walk with a longer lever on the 3-way....:twocents:

In my opinion if you cant walk a properly built pnuemag...your not gonna walk anything else.
I am also a big fan of having the 3 way lever long...it really makes the pull feel as soft as an angels fart!

Just the look on the kiddies faces when they found out they just got painted up by a Mech is truly priceless.

My biggest problem in the begining was shootdown...but after some fine tuning i can hit 15+bps....there are a few vids on AO that t0nnn and i made showing just how nice they can be. "if you want i can try to post them for you"
But the best part:banana: Its a custom setup and you will be proud of your one off pnuemag "thats why im not bothering with the g-force"

Goodluck with your p-mag:cheers:

Thanks. Im really really looking forward to it. I also need to find someone to do some laser engraving for me. My rail is on its way, then its off to Luke for some special milling, then TheFool for anno, and then pnuemagger for pnuemagging.:happydance:

Im pushing for a truely one off mag here. I jsut wish i could afford a new body. But then, i kinda like the clean unfettered lines of the ULE body.
