In the next month or so, Im wanting to head up to DAVIS Paintball (http://www.davispaintball.com/welcome.html). They have a handful of fields, including a nice airball setup.
I've never been, but have heard good things about it.
-Prices are reasonable $15 + $5 for all day air (girls get free admission)
-Paint is reasonable, $60/case or BYOP
-Only an hour or so from the Bay Area
And, at this time of year, it shouldnt be too hot
Anyways, I'll be heading up in the next month or so regardless of anyone else. But, if a small group of us wants to get together, it'll be even better.

I just played their Big Game Day this past Saturday. The first weekend of each month they have a Big Game Day and the price of admission is $10 + $5 for all day air and lunch (hot dogs, soda and chips) is also included. Self equipped girls are somewhat free. They do have to pay $5 for air which i'm not complaining about. They have a Berlin field which is a small scenario type field and is fun to play. And they have a huge capture the fort type of field which is ok if you enjoy long balling each other to death. Davis Painball's NPPL field is what stands out for me the most. Lots of bunkers to hide behind and the turf is just so comfy to run on. Here are some pics i took of the Davis Big Game this past September. I should have posted these pics earlier, but what can i say...i can be lazy at times. :D

Mike, I'm down, but will not have a positive answer for a couple of weeks since I'm starting a new job. I'm about 90% good to go so we'll see....

I won't be able to make the big game in november because i'll be on vacation. You guys should definitley check it out though. The field is flat, lots of tables, shading, and parking. I recommend getting there between 8-8:20am to secure a table w/ shade. Make sure you type their addrress in Mapquest, because the directions on their website is wrong. If you're coming from the bay area, they tell you to make a left off the freeway when you should be making a right.

That is really a nice looking place.. I am sorry it has taken this long to get images of the fields... so were all those people just walk-ons and it was big team A vs big team B?
What kind of temperatures are we looking at during the year (i.e. when can we go there and NOT have it be 80+ our but for acts of God?)

Yea..after you chrono the refs split you up into two teams and your given a red arm band or blue arm band. Both times i was out there the teams were pretty much even. I would say the majority of the people are walk ons. You had your share of high end guns, but the majority out there were carrying your entry level markers...which still managed to target me a few times. Lots of pump players too. Last weekend i would say it was a breezy 80 degrees. The heat never once bothered me...it was actually a nice day to play paintball.

Well, does the 17th, the 31st or the 7th (big game) work for anyone?
