So this year when we are at AO south Kruger(mel) says he has an exciting new game for us to play. It was "Blind Paintball". The rules were pretty simple. Each player placed a few paper towels inside his mask to make him "blind". Each player is given a "coach" that follows the player around directing him to shoot the other players. The coach could only talk to the player, and tell him where to shoot.

We were playing for one of the donated prizes. It was absolutely crazy. Alex(mag79) was my coach. I tried to run down the field. just shooting straight hoping to hit something. You dont realize how hard it is to do anything when you cant see. I had problems doing simple task such as reloading my hopper. Something I dont even look at when playing (or so I thought). I went through ~ 500 rounds, and was only able to eliminate one player.

This is a game I would suggest everyone to try at least once. It is kind of a rush running where you cannot see, shooting at something you have no idea where it is.

Hahaha, that really does look and sound like fun to me. :D

Did you only play this game once? How long did the game last would you say or was there a timer on this one?

you shot 3 people but only eliminted one:evillaugh:

if you think about it we where never eliminated, you were shot after your kill. I dont know why we walk off the field. I wasn't blind folded but it was alot of fun.

We played 3v3 for the first game. It lasted ~ 5min or so. I am not sure how the last 3 players played. Ruler_mark can chime in and tell how that played. He actually won the whole "tournament"

Well it sounds like it was good times. Hell it would be fun to just watch.

Mag79 and Mann ,,, You 2 were great playing against in this... I was coaching DevilMan against you 2 and I think but I am not sure you and DM took each other out at the same time ??? not sure... (It does look like in the pic above that Punkn' is calling you out ???)

I do know that each round last 5 minutes and DevilMan and Myself went against Tommy and Doug(coach) and Tommy took us out... After that it was Ruler Mark and Tommy,,, outcome Ruler Mark only had 5 or 6 balls left and took out Tommy...

It was great fun and I was trying to use the clock method with DM but he listened but his marker wouldn't follow (hahahahaha)... I finally got him locked in on Tommy and Maniac said move up and we did with no luck...

It was great fun...

Now Mann since you let the cat outta the bag on Blind Paintball now you have to explain "House of Pain" !!! hahahahahhaa :rofl2:

Yeah. It broke on my hopper. After being eliminated and getting to see where I was on the field was odd. I thought I made it up to at least the ~ 40 to the brick bunker. I must have been wide open behind that pyramid.

That place is crazy. Alot easier this year, but still hard. I wish I had realized I was running low on paint. I was shooting at their last guy when all the sudden my marker stopped.

Before we made that final push I should have asked you if you had enough paint... I had one pod left,,, sorry Bro. :( ... Next spring we will plan ahead a little better... It was great playing with you again !!! :D

as maniac stated I play better pb blind. lol

Game 1 was 3 v 3
DM and someone went out simultaneously, then I shot out the other 2.

Game 2 was DM vs tommy?, dm lost
Game 3 was Me vs tommy, I won

I had a great coach, david

something I did was alot of blind firing. :D

Better than my averages when I can see. DevilMan told me he was going to be there so now I can pester him for images on his end as well. Sadly I do not have images of the scenario I played this Saturday in Colorado... didn't even know it was going to BE a scenario...

Z-man,,,

When I get home this evening I will post all the Pics I have for both the "Blind Paintball" and the AO South game... I took good care of DM for you and had a place for him to lay his head for 2 nights and he rode down with me and utilized some of my gear and paint (only thing I didn't have for him was a pod pack)... It was a Blast to have DM come out and sling some paint...

whenever i see real grass with out dead spots on a field i get jealous.

This also gave me a really good idea for a drill at my team practice.

This field is by far one of the best; if not the best that I have ever visited. The field, staff, and setup is just hard to beat.
