Anyone else notice the deluge of ********** chronies trying to do PR and damage control on PBN?

I think it speaks VOLUMES about the current state of the paintball industry. The saying goes "You reap what you sow", and I hope that those turds reap plenty.

I do not want to link to PBN threads. It will bring the collective IQ down a few points, and we dont have any extra to spare around here to begin with.

Half of me wants to create a 'black list' of known ********** sympathizers and employees and post it up all over the place.

The other half wants nothing to do with them, and not give them any of the attention they are trying to get.

Anyhow - I foresee this situation only getting worst as the paintball industry slows down even more.

As much as I hate to admit it, I watched the whole thing unfold. It was classic. The big heavies and old gods of paintball got in on the act. Doc, & Tom piping in their :twocents: -- Doc owned the crap out of billy too by pointing out the fallacy of ** 'science'... I nearly soiled myself. What Billy Gardner was attempting to gain by doing what he did is still beyond comprehension. I blame doobies and vodka.

I used to go to the ASM forum over there as it was at least those who were paying to support PBN, but even there it has turned into ST. I am also not really comfortable with the ** affiliation with PBN. Its turning into more of a ** advertising vehicle then it is an objective paintball forum. Hell TF from Phog damn near got banned for writing a really good "How To" but linking it to the Pumpenstein site.. c'mon PBN...

Sure there are those that will argue that the B/S/T is great, and that there is great information on PBN. Could be. But I am tired of wading through a sea of Agglett smack talk and plain old horse**** to get to the nugget that I need. I am much more comfortable here, PBF, AO, MCB, and Phog.

That is why I quit going long ago. All the little 13 year old intarweb hitmen running around showing how badass they are. Its rediculous.

The ASM at least filters out some of the riff raff.. they have been banding together to send to the soldiers care packages (through me) which has been pretty cool.

I pop in there every now and again.. but don't do much else. There are some ok threads and then there are some threads that are a waste of bandwidth. In fact, most threads there are a waste of bandwidth.

I am curious to know just what level of ownership/sponsorship the dreaded Gardner Empire has with PBN right now.

Not to my knowledge.. I would expect that would have been publicized like crazy. I know there are a few people with Gardner voodoo dolls, but haven't heard anything about an untimely demise.

He "died" trying to defend his **** certainly on PBN... Doc Nickel pretty much tore huge gaping holes in his so called 'scientific research' that Fart Parts allegedly conducted. TK was on the thread too, but is too much of a gentleman to cry foul, but he got a few licks in too. I was waiting for Bob Long or someone like him to show up and really start blasting.

Sadly the only sound I heard was a collective bowel movement from the Fart Parts legal department when they all got the **** scared out of them over this.

Man to have been a fly on the wall in that meeting the next morning...

Watching Billy get torn apart was awsome. Bob Long would have been perfect as he hates ** more than most anyone, if one of the Gardners died its cause Bob killed him. He owes them not just for the law suits and crap but also for public humiliation. They actually served Bob his "your being sued" papers as he was walking onto the field for an NXL game and made a huge deal about it right there infront of every body.

They make cheap *** crap, use marketing and licensing tactics that are illegal (ignoring prior art, filing patents on things that they don't own, filing patents on everything under the sun that is paintball -- most recently a gas through grip, and treat their distributors and dealers like ****.)
