Here's a question for you.

If you were an AKA fan, and owned AKA markers - why would you make a thread to "appraise your markers?" For example, on PbN there is an Appraisal V2 thread where a bunch of AKA guys are sitting there literally devaluing their own property!

Does this not seem counter intuitive? Why would you knowingly devalue your own property! Ignorant little agglets I guess looking to make other AKA products cheaper so they can own more?

I saw them appraise a collectors quality stock blind 02 excal for 150. Just 8 months ago it would have been 400. I understand there's a recession going on, and maybe im just angry that they are devaluing my property with every damn appraisal they make.. but shouldn't I be?

Why?

It's an AKA mech, and mech's are passe, revenges and merlins probably no more than 200 bucks because of the "recession"

haha, im messin with you man, but thats the BS thats going on over there.

Do they think the prices will.. "go back up" after the "recession?" Total ignorance. Worst part is - it affects a lot of us here.

Anyone here a PBN mod? Just delete the thread? lol

haha yeah allot of people think the recession means everything should be cheaper. Well it usually all depends on the seller and how much he/she ''needs'' to sell.

But I would never devaluate my property.. would not help my cause.. haha

IMO they are not quoteing what they are worth but what they would sell for right now , so actually they are devaluing the dollar
I'm sure you noticed that a # of guys said , damn i'd buy 1 at that price

Of course they value them low, they wanted them listed low so they can then snatch them up cheap.

Eh, I think eventualy the market will fall out on any older marker that retains any sort of value. It was bound to happen to the AKA market, sad but true.

I no longer post in that thread because it is more of an "I would pay" this much appraisal thread, not what it is worth.

Those types of threads are worthless. If people would take a few minutes to look at what others are selling theirs for then they can make an asking price accordingly. That's why I hate those thread. I never post in them anymore and everytime I see one i get sick to my stomach cause people dont take the time to just look.

The only use i see for that thread is to appraise one-off beasts that thier value cannot be easily ascertained. that thread is far from it.
