If you could change ONE and only ONE thing about the industry/sport what would it be.
Im just curious to see what people biggest issues are.
limit it to ONE thing....you have to power to change ONE thing....what is it?
Me:
I would make it so you could never go over 15bps. No marker could be made to fire over it, no cheater boards would be made to bypass this...every marker(gun) would manufactured to NEVER be able to shot past 15 pbs.

I would like to see the Smart Parts decisions reversed and an "open source" marker developed, Big Dreamer. :freak:

There to never be a patent on anything related to paintball.

I second that. I think we would see a much greater diversity in markers and products. Rather than having fart parts controling and limiting the market by replacing innovative ideas with there concervative ones.

instead of saying let's make all markers not be able go over 15BPS, let's make paint so exorbitant in price that you have to think about every trigger pull...

Paint to exorbidant....tried that....done that.....1986-87-88-89. I kinda like things the way they are now on the paint.
one thing to change....hmmmmm.....perception of the game to the public through the media. Media rarely gets it right and because they don't get it right the politians usually get involved........and whenever politians get involved it is ususally not a good thing. my :twocents:

That electronic markers were never developed. The patent thing was a close second.

Simple, get rid of the Aggletts. Fixes basically all of the problems right there.
Get rid of Smart Part's broad patents is a close second.

Have the Patent Office pull its head out of its *** and actually LOOK at what smart parts is patenting. Maybe even realise that the "go back and modify" trick is illegal, and fix the USPTO's first mistake!
A close second is get rid of the idiots, both the players (agglets) and the media that do harmful things to our sport.

I'd like to see some sort of non-wipeable paint. I'm not saying we need to go around shooting rit dye at each other, but something that would require you to return to the staging area to clean up. Probably to far fetched huh? but i hate wipers :axemurder:

I think the only disadvantage to that is, the small guy would do all the R&D work to come out with something new and creative....then the big companies would copy it and the little guy would get screwed. Eventually, youd have the same result: The little guy would quit, and the big guys wouldnt innovate.

I would want all forms of play to be equal.
I have nothing against the current tourney model. Playing on the level of Dynasty and the Iron Men takes tons and tons of talent. Just makes me sad that there are people with just as much if not more talent who play only pump or only woods/SPPL and never see the same type of success.

More fun. It's fun every time I play, but not as fun as the first time.

I would take "fashion" out of paintball. I am sick of it...gucci headbands? twoil gloves? fohawks? goggle friendly hairstyles? WTF!!! Its that entire attitude that is killing this sport...its the punk *** attitude that leeches everything...NO ONE CAREs that you look like some kinda Metrosexual superhero!
...sorry had to vent..that crap was all over the field today...
I'd take all these old codgers out of the game that complain about too much bps and like wear camo and such. They always ***** about wiping and ramping and blah blah. Losers. They only cry cuz they don't know how to. You ain't cheatin you aint tryin! That's why you sukzorz!

Id remove ramping. Then anyone who couldnt shoot fast wouldnt be able to.

I would remove any mode of fire that wasnt semi.

when you say ramping do you mean ramping exclusively or any form that isnt semi
I would remove any mode of fire that wasnt semi.
I see arstron has made his way over as well:wthumpup:
I think we need regulations as well as trigger weight, pull length etc. Even semi only guns can be set to go off when set down hard on a table or josteled a bit. that is unnaceptable
--As for my one wish, well i wish everyone would play for fun and honor...

I like the "semi" rule. Would lend some extra edge to those of us who actually work on being able to walk the markers properly.
I think, for me, i would like to see a new format. Something between speedball intensity, and woodsball strategy. Maybe a return to 10 man play, or maybe 15. And a new format that requires longer games, and more team strategy.
Does what im saying make sense?

10 bps cap - total regard less of platform

Agreed,
we could have unlimited BPS w/o the morons.
