I got a form in the mail from the U.S. District Court that says I'm entitled to an "Easy Refund" of $25 if I just fill out the name and address, sign and return. Apparently the settlement is against major credit card companies who pulled some shenanigans with interest rates on foreign purchases. Visa, Master or Diners Club card holders as of November 8. 2006 get the refund even if they didn't make foreign purchases. I'm sending off for my $25 today. Lord knows they've cheated me out of far more than that throughout the years.

Lucy you. :sticktongue:

Well, I myself am hoping to use some of the vast amount of Amex points I am accruing to come out to Cali for one of those famous SoCal games.

Over the years I've been a default class member in several securities fraud lawsuits against corporations. In the 1990's it seemed like every time a stock made a major correction the ambulance chasers would drum up a lawsuit against the company. This is the first time I've ever been involved in what appears to be an actual class action settlement based on legitimate charges.
