There's 4 barrel backs and a dust black tip auction. Did these kits really cost 375.00 new? Damn......

They were astro-expensive. Only the titanium backs really command a premium now. I don't think that kit will sell.

Its not worth it tracker, just for the cool points?
Nevermind. I just remembered that titanium adds closed-bolt like range. Just as accurate as a normal aluminum barrel but adds just a little more range.
Edit - and one of the worst part about those barrels is that it is very hard to tell over the internet if the barrel has a ti back or an aluminum back. The color is different but on a PC it isn't exactly obvious haha.

great barrels, but the price is a little steep for my blood.

Are the aluminum backs as good as the titanium ones?

I think the titanium ones have a slight advantage, but I am not sure it justifies the huge increase in price. I use titanium ones (because I find them for dirt cheap), but if I didn't have them I would happily use aluminum. I would not suggest a new player to buy the titanium version. The biggest advantage with titanium paintball barrels IMO is their ability to "self clean" better than most other barrels. Of course using a quality marker with eyes, a force fed hopper, and good paint will eliminate most if not all breaks. Then a barrel's performance is based on the bore and quality of the paint.
Edit:
Oh and the main advantage to using titanium barrels instead of alum/ss/cf (regardless of mfrg ie dye, TIPB, etc) is the fact that you will shoot sparks out of your marker. It scares agg players and they will lay down their markers and run. :nunchaku:

A-Tach I don't think there is a significant advantage, if there is one at all.
Stainless steel is also technically better than anodized aluminum. If titanium is better than it is not better enough to justify using it as a barrel.
People use stiffi barrels. Carbon fiber is not a great barrel material except that it is cool. They shoot great.
Titanium is for cool points and looking good polished and raw only IMO.
The aluminum backed versions of that barrel aren't worth near as much as the titanium backs. I've had one or two and they didn't seem any better than the other barrels I had at the time.
But don't get me wrong..If i found the ti version for cheap enough I'd definitely pick it up and probably want to keep it around. Titanium is awesome.

So I guess that makes the full titanium longbow kit I have pretty valuable? ;)
I should just go ahead an list it for sale, not like I'm using it. This is the second I've owned, best kit I've used. Plus, it shoots sparks!

One of my team mates had a set and I thought the boomstick shot straighter.
